I have noticed this happening for more than just this season. Our opposition seem to score much heavier on average in the coaches votes. So often we have a narrow loss and our opposition seems to poll all or nearly all the votes it would be interesting to see the stats on this over the past 2 or 3 y...

I think you wrongly credited Steele instead of Sinclair with the 5 votes in round 14

The umpires obviously were advised to keep an eye on him at half time. He had 3 frees against him shortly after and of course the 50 penalty in the last without even a warning.

Both are playing restricted minutes (around 60% game time) so naturally their stats are not going to match those mids playing high% game time.

Clark when fit and available is an automatic selection for me. On limited time he has shown heaps since his return to the side and has been in the best players each game. I thought he showed excellent strength breaking tackles so not sure about the extra gym time. But perhaps needs to up his fitness...

What gets me is you don't see players spinning the ball when taking kicks further up the field, only when taking a set shot for goal.

I don't ever remember Plugger needing to spin the ball.

It has been obvious to me for at least 3 seasons now, that Windhager plays his best when given a tagger/run-with role.
He has been found wanting when tried in other positions, especially half-back. Why do they persist in trying him there?
