How does McQualter keep being selected?

Leigh Fisher is surely a better option.

Agree that McQualter must go.
Has shown nothing and was huge liability during the finals...should not have been selected.

I have to agree with Evertonfc that Birss and X are preferred to Mini and Eddy. I don't believe McQualter is up to AFL standard. He has shown little in the many chances he has had. Eddy will certainly make it as a player but still falls a bit short of what's required. Falls over too much, tackles do...

I went to the '66 Grand Final, much to my Mother's horror because I am Jewish too and it was on a very holy day. But I thought if it's good enough for Ian Synman to play, them its ok for me to go. I took a fellow Jewish supporter with me to ease my conscience. I have no regrets about going and still...

I think Eddy will be a player but not quite up to it as yet. I don't believe Mcqualter will ever be good enough.

I would bring in both Birss and X this week who both showed something with Casey on Sunday.

Ball if fit should replace Allen who was very lucky to be selected against Collingwood.

I can't believe that Eddy and Mini , who have done nothing recently to justify their positions, can be preferred to Birss and X, who would be so much better for the run last week.

Thankfully there was vision available which showed the report should

never have been made.

Without vision it could have been at least 4 weeks in view of the Baker

suspension.

I have always been a fan of CJ and none more so than today.

If alll our players show his commitment and passion we wouldn't see

lack-lustre performances like we witnessed today.

Blight writes Us Off

Malcolm Blight in today's telecast of the Adelaide -Collingwood match gave

us no chance of beating Geelong tomorrow. Said the winner ( Pies) would

be playing the Saints, saying tomorrow's game is a forgone conclusion.

He never rated us before he was coach and has never rated us since.

I hope the result is the same as that final against the Swans.

I thought we might get hammered when I saw the weather but it was one

of our best finals wins ever.

Its rotten luck...he was playing well.

I hope the give strong consideration to Leigh Fisher. He is not a mid fielder where he was being played when dropped but i feel he is a safer half-back than Gwilt or Raph Clarke who have both been more successful further up the ground.

I thought he was BOG to half time.

14 quality possessions in only 60 percent of the game time for the half.

Record number of Upsets?

Was this round the highest number of upsets ever?

Six of the top eight (at the start of the round) were beaten.

Six teams lost to teams below them on the ladder.

I am amazed that there are still people here who consider CJ a fringe player.

What does he have to do? He has consistently got possessions, tackled well,

put in and improved his disposal of the ball.
