Pathetic when a small forward body lines a ball and a key defender dangles an arm in a feeble attempt. Its not the first time he has done that, desparation and Dougal are not synonymous. You also rarely see him go back with the flight of the ball, he is not our most courageous player thats for sure...

Steele, Crouch and Ross as a collective is pretty pedestrian..youth needs to be added urgently!
Windhager, Clark, Owens & Bytel need more time in the middle, with Gresham & Sinclair adding a bit of flair.

As far as Xerri went, simply not good enough to give up a future 2nd.

At 18 the kid is only scratching the surface of what’s to come.
He’ll show glimpses during some games but will likely have quite patches.
The games we get into him this season will be a great springboard into preseason..look at the improvement of Nas after playing 17 games last year!

I don’t think they are competing for the same spot. Caminiti is a potential key-position player. Membrey is a good third forward, but not tall or strong enough to crash packs as a key forward should. North were always going to throw everything at us..cast your mind back to last season when North nearly caused the boil over of the year when they led Collingwood for most of the game, similarly they came within a whisker of beating the swans in Sydney...
