Re: Alistair walks out on North

Be interesting if Ratts gets north up and about and finish higher then us at season end. Yeah right. You can't make chocolates out of boiled lollies. I suppose you also believe that Donald Trump is law abiding citizen. What are you talking about!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Where did I say anything a...

Re: Hammer signs for 3

F*** me. He's gotten off to an OK start but surely not worthy of a 3 year deal. The Sharman 2 year deal is still hurting. Maybe its a minimum wage deal...hopefully. This is where Geoff Walsh was supposed to provide oversight. If the hammer has a full pre season he could turn out to be a real revela...

Re: SOD'S boy

Talking of family members - not the O’Donnell’s but the Owens. I was watching (on-line) the VFL match, North versus Frankston. Reason I was watching it, a friends grandson plays for Frankston. North ended up by slaughtering The Dolphins. I watched about two & a half quarters of the match. Very ...

Re: Training Friday May 12

Marshall didn't train on Friday he ran a few laps and went in the rooms so we should have played a second ruck option like Campbell even as a 23 man he could at least ruck most of the day with Marshall off for such a long period of time.

its not good on Owens to ruck we need him in the midfield.

Re: Changes for next week

The coach and match committee are playing our best 22. That's the team they drew up at the start of the year and Unless they are injured or suspended all 22 get a game each and every week King, Windhager and Webster are all best 22..none played yesterday! It was a tongue in cheek comment. Match com...

Re: Mulligan or trend?

Gresham? If fit comes back in as has something we lack - explosiveness from contest We have a explosive and hard nosed player who can play in midfield in Owens but he is rucking this will wreck him he needs to go on ball now that caminiti and king will be there. Out should be Sharman, Membery, Patt...

Re: Training Friday May 12

Yesterday was probably the sharpest I’ve seen our boys train for some time. Very slick, running on top of the ground with guys that have been struggling recently, such as Membrey, Steel & Crouch, looking much better. It would be remiss of me not to mention young Caminiti monstering Josh Battle ...

Who I would you drop to put in Caminiti and King the ones I would drop are either Seb and Patton/Sharman did not have great games been a while now since they did ok. I would drop them for king and caminiti I really thought caminiti presented well consistently in the early rounds Sharman I am not sur...

Re: Camaniti vs memory.

Leave Membrey in when he is the 3 option with King and caminiti in he will do a lot better. caminity is a different sort of player very mobile should play CHF Membrey on the flank and King deep in the forward line with Butler, Higgins with Owens either in the midfield or HFF with Po. Out this week t...

Re: Does king walk straight in?

If you've listened to Lyon's press conference last night and throughout the past couple of months, he doesn't fawn over King and King will need to play to the team's system. He's not getting a free ride. I think ultimately he will come straight in however Lyon is letting him know who the boss is an...

Yes straight back in A fit king takes the best defender even if he is not match fit to good a player not to play.
I would hate to see him in the 2s get injured and out for season.

Unfortunately this type of behaviour is still very prevalent everywhere in society including this forum. The challenge is amongst that group of ppl that harbour those negative attitudes but know what they can and can’t say and walk around the line rather than cross it. All you can really do is conf...

Yes I am sure Ben is happy on GC and has brought a house and his GF is up there as well. Its the same for hundreds of players that go interstate to play and they often pack up and move to another club and city its the nature of AFL so I would rule him out yet. He could be saying that to get the heat...

Re: Is it time to play Row as a Key forward

Marshall does lack a bit of forward craft but so does cordy and Iam sure the can learn how to play forward, he would be a lot better then Cordy, and can mark so is a target not just our smalls and mid size forwards. Campbell is all we have in the ruck department and he is a good tape ruck maybe not ...

Is it time to play Row as a Key forward

After Last week game were we were constantly out marked in the forward line why not play Row as a key forward, he came to us as a KPF and drop Cordy play Campbell as the ruck and give him 60% of ruck work Row 40% we could try it for the next week game. It would allow our mid size players Owens, Mate...

We have one of the best tap ruckman sitting in the VFL Campbell is really good with his feeding to the mids and his body work and marking.

Re: Cordy is important to us structurally....

Cordy is a very important player to our team in terms of being able to play multipule positions. Maybe we should have moved cordy to CHB and taken Battle out to play up forward as he was getting smashed. Key defence is Cordy position and he has played on some of the biggest and best forwards and do...
