Re: Round One team ...

How good does our midfield look now.

We are currently $18 for the 2021 flag.

Inviting huh.

Re: YOU'LL LOVE THIS I/V WITH TOM HIGHMORE

This will make your day. The kid asking the questions is an absolute dead set legend. Tom Highmore comes across as a nice young man. The rest speaks for itself. Enjoy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2RjI5jJNRd4 I think the kid screams Bruce McAveny 2.0. Expect him to be on the Channel 7 AFL team r...

Billing’s emergency
To be fair, based on his last game it's possible he could be dropped for round 1.

Re: Draft night

Bio: Allison is one of the top talls who has a stack of scope for improvement. He can get up and down the ground using his strong endurance base, which is also matched by a good acceleration when on a lead. He has been used as a midfielder on the outside at times and still has untapped potential th...

Bereft as we all are of anything terribly interesting or exciting during this off-season, I really enjoyed listening to the boys at SEN this morning speaking with Brett Ratten on how the club and team is travelling: https://www.sen.com.au/news/2020/12/08/how-saints-addressed-crouchs-off-field-indis...

Re: Joyce and Clavarino to rookie list

Clavarino better make it work for himself in 2021 if he wants to be an AFL player in 2022. He must be running out of chances. I've a lot of faith in Clav. He's a slow burn due to untimely injuries & pandemics but I believe he'll end up a lock like his good mate Battle. 2021 is time to own it Cl...

Re: Chips Frawley

I think there’s more to this than the obvious. Soft cap spending has been slashed for next year All clubs have been forced to reduce their support staff accordingly. How do you get an extra assistant? Put him on your playing list Roughead and Rath would know Frawley well Maybe he’s going to be the ...

As Scott Morrison would say, "How Good Is St Kilda"!

Nearly all the building blocks are in place. This list now needs luck with injury to have a successful pre season and then bank a big a number of games playing together.

Re: HIGGINS DEAL DONE

Despite my nagging concerns for the boy's heath I'm wrapped about this recruit. If he can add depth to our midfield as well as kick goals then I'm almost inlined to say we have achieved our task of filling the much known and discussed gaps in our midfield stocks. I've felt that this recruitment peri...

Re: Gallagher List Manager on why Crouch ticks the box

I'm cautiously optimistic we can return to full strength competition in 2021 without any restrictions due to COVID and hopefully see how our midfield can perform. In my dreams all of our midelfieders are available for selection each week and none miss weeks due to injury. It's looking pretty good in...

Re: Treloar bombshell

Pies only will only chip in for one year. So Treloar would to join us have to sign on a much lower deal than he currently has. If we trade in J Higgins then we have little to trade for Treloar. Lonie would only be a deposit. So you would need to say give next year's first and probably second. If th...

Re: Seb Ross

I think to be honest... I reckon Ross’ value most likely exceeds what he will attract on the open market. He played a lot better in the second half of the season post retiring from injury. I think I’m happy for him to play with a higher degree of pressure to retain his spot. My personal opinion is ...

I'm sure we'd all love McCartin back at St. Kilda but after 8 concussions is it worth the risk? Seriously, we'd have our collective hearts in our mouths for every contest he'd be involved in...sadly I think Paddy shouldn't play again. If you were Jack Higgins parents would you be happy for him to p...

Re: Saints after McKernan?

Listened to Gags on trade radio this morning he said King needs help up forward but they were not willing to spend much so my take on that is Mckernan would be an upgrade on Abbott & an insurance policy for Ryder/Marshall allowing us to keep our structure. Also my take he gets offered a year &am...

Re: If Higgins, Why Not McCartin ?

He's in the best shape of his life, lost heaps of weight and has got himself real fit. Aren't we in the market for a backup tall forward for King. Paddy sounds like a backup if ever there was.

McKernan over Paddy....really? I hope we don't regret not taking him.
