other way to lok at this of course is to see the threate as the opportunity. ewith everyone offloading players to get draft picks, why dont we top up on mid-20s players - could get some quality players on offer for crap draft picks a 25-26 year old has 4 years left - enough to see us through the dra...

How about option 3. Play the kids and somehow still manage to get into the 8. I agree play howard, geary, connors, armitage, mcEvoy, Ellen perhaps, Eddy, Steven as opposed to Fiora, Fisher, Blake, Milne, C gardiner - and you might find us in a better position anyway. then, we have at least some trad...

Armitage himself only recently suggested fitness was a challenge for him at AFL level, or at least was last year - no 'sources' or 'inside word' here - it's in the media - this may be why he's a/ not getting lots of game time and b/ being dropped

it's 7 versus 6, 5 versus 8 expect Saints to romp into the top with alonside Geeling, Hawthorn and North Melbourne I hate to predict a North vs Hawthorn GF, but like both teams a lot North have a real escitement and depth of endeavor in their list. they bring in some scrawny kid from the two's and h...

vacuous space, any trade for NDS is simply the idea of he's one who who's underawed us and would also be valued. Would you consider a couple under 20 draft picks for him?

first I think for X, he's clearly been instructed to play safe... no flying for marks, concentrate on the weak side of his game i believe in focusing on the weak sides of your game during the week, not at training - so I think he's been de-flamboyantised, and that's affected his confidence. Raph jus...

I think a lot of you blokes would make decent administrators - impressed by a topic for the first time - nobody insulted anyone, everyone has strongly felt opinions. I like the idea of Kozi at CHB - been calling for it all year I've also like the idea of Roo on a wing I'd - this will sound insane - ...

I watched the game and can answer it, but, no surpirses - you know the answer already: those who gave it their all: Ball, Harvs, Hayes, Roo - although, he's getting fed up, Max, Sam Fisher those who contributed servicably and worked well enough: M Gardiner, Gram, Goddard, McQualter, Dempster, NDS, G...

problem is whether he had a good game or not, he's not good enough. players with big hearts and no skill are the death of any team that gets mesmerized by their spirit. go for class all the time, I say. C Jones would NEVER get a game under Mick Malthouse, because he has no time for players who are n...

Tanking doesn't mean the players not playing, fonz_#15, or the coaching staff acting on game day in such a way as to orchestrate defeat, it is selecting teams that won't win, with longer term goals in mind. Picking 3-4 kids this year would neither be tanking, or even if it was, wouldn't be the 'head...

i'm not sure it's an issue of losing players so much as over-complicating things for them. IMHO we are a top 3 side playing like a bottom 3 side, and there are 3 basic problems: - players played out of position, or not given a chance to play to their strengths (ie, Roo should be on the wing, Kozi sh...
