It's interesting watching the young, non rated teams like Adelaide and Sydney and look at their effort and intensity around the ball. We would get mauled by Adelaide right now. My Under 11 girls team I coach show more effort. Footy's simple, it's just effort.

Sure the conditions were atrocious but that didn't stop GWS where a fat 39 year old absolutely smashed us, I have watched all the saints games this year and they are getting worse not better. I still feel like we're not at the top of our build and may be a year or two away from the chance at glory. I can't imagine another year older will make Hanners any less injury prone. I feel like Ross may have had a wake up call in the early part of this year and hopefully will come out swinging to retain a spot in the best 22. Probably more upside in that.
