Re: We're officially a bottom 4 Club
Who actually thinks we aren’t a bottom 4 team? I think the sooner that is realised, the better off some people might be?! We are actually a bottom 2 team with this season’s injuries. I know we like to blame AR for the state of the club, and he bears some of the responsibility without doubt. But it g...

Re: Putrid reading
But we’re only losing because of the coach aren’t we?!
The sad thing is, the reasonable players on that list have missed the majority of the season.
Marshall, is our best player... a 25 game Ruckman
Worst list since 85

Re: Richo’s Blind Spots
Or is he just trying to coach a pretty average team playing against better teams?

Re: Richo’s Blind Spots
So Marshall hasn’t developed? I would say he has improved a fair bit?! Marshall played Forward last year, had not shown enough as a Ruckman in 2018 at VFL level to get the number 1 Ruck position, lacked the strength and fitness required at the time. Pierce got the nod in in R1 after taking Marshall ...

Re: Ins.
Which players are not putting in? Big call?!
Maybe not playing well, but not trying would be inaccurate, a load of rubbish really.

Re: Richo’s Blind Spots
Was Richo blind in 2016/2017 when we went better than 50% with an average list? I think it’s hard to get a read imo as this is the worse list I’ve seen at StK. especially with the injuries to key personnel. The three highest paid players have missed most of the season and the skipper is also out for...

Re: Alan Will Call it Himself.
If Clarkson would work miracles with our average list, why isn’t he doing it with their average list. Do you reckon their experienced elite talent had much to do with it? Burgoyne, Hodge, Mitchell, Gunston, Roughead, Lewis, Rioli, Birchall, Bruest Add Lake, Hill, Smith, McEvoy, Sheils Not the worst ...

Re: Richo’s Blind Spots
He doesn’t think Newnes is a star, and would be frustrated with a senior players output He doesn’t rate Billy at all, hence Billy playing at Sandy this year and last while Hickey, Marshall and Pierce have rucked Without Steven we are not a strong midfield group, he would know this Most teams aim for...

Re: Draper from Essendon Trade
If Longer and Pierce are gone, which is likely then there is need for a BACK UP ruckman. In case our best young player gets injured. Draper makes sense and 400K per year seems reasonable What I don’t get, is this idea of bringing in Goldstein, who is not a back up ruckman, he is a number 1, and prob...

Re: Roberton back at training
Good to hear that he’s back again running. Has been replaced by a very able Wilkie, so if he does ever return (doubtful) he’ll just squeeze one of Coffield, Clark or Wilkie out Plus we have Webster, Savage, White, Paton, Geary, McKenzie all competing for a few spots. We have way too many defenders o...

The most overrated thing in footy
The influence of a coach! I have read with interest, the absolute blaming of Richo for our failures over the past 18 months, here’s my thoughts on the subject of coaches. It’s an AFL myth that coaches have the most influence over a team performance. Every time a team loses games, the first question ...
