Re: 2019 Coaching. It's a lose-lose.
First up, cards on the table. Richardson has completely lost me. How he is still in the role is just astounding really. Pathetic, matey performance management. Fish rots at the head. Runs are just not on the board. We would have to win 18+ games next year to have me thinking otherwise. I hate sacki...

Re: Carlton’s Pick 1
Every year you hear the same old same old. The top 3 are guns and then you can throw a blanket over the next 20 odd. But in reality it never works out that way. If I was List Manager at the Saints and I could turn pick 4 into pick 8 and 15 I would do it in a heart beat.

Re: We've been Shanghaid
A closer read (which confirms Kosi's "don't discuss on social media" point fails to reveal how much this deal is worth. To give away 3 home games should be worth a couple of million? Taking the long term view, when the yellow hordes eventually invade Australia they might look more favoura...

Re: Next years captain
Bring back a different variation of the rotating captaincy. Hanners can share the captaincy with a different young gun each year. I would do something like this... 2019 - Co-captains Hanners and Jack Sinclair 2020 - Co-captains Hanners and Jack Billings 2021 - Co-captains Hanners and Blake Acres 20...

This is the friggen idiot who decided to get rid of Freeman and Goddard just when they got their bodies right. And now we have to fill their spots on the list with picks 400 and 450 in the National Draft. Good onya f***wit. <warning for abuse of Saints official> I got a warning for this? Are you se...

Re: strategy on trade/draft now
Will be interested to see if their is a realignment of strategy or a path continued for the remainder of the trade period. Option 1: Keep chasing talent - Scully is reportedly not happy with GWS and their medical staff . They need to continue to dump salary for Kelly 2019 so may be an option. to me...

Re: the view from the bridge
I certainly hope the new staff usher in a better era on the field, because the severe debt the club currently finds itself in really is looming large on the horizon. I mean, after asking members, supporters and benefactors for money to get back to Moorabbin, when is it acceptable to go back to the ...

Re: Hickey gone?
If Hickey goes, we would need to find another ruck. Roughead maybe, but plenty of mature age rucks are out there in state leagues. Club is looking at a couple. Similar to how we got Marshall. Even if Hickey goes we don't need another ruckman. Use the pick on a midfielder. If the club determines tha...

Re: I hate to say it but the path that our new List Manager has taken..........
Surely OP is taking the Mickey.. trade our two best players for a couple of pick 10’s.. I would rather be mediocre for a couple more years if it means we will have a better shot at it when we are genuinely in the premiership window. I get the idea but I just can’t see good examples of where this st...

Re: I hate to say it but the path that our new List Manager has taken..........
Surely OP is taking the Mickey.. trade our two best players for a couple of pick 10’s.. I'm not taking the Mickey out of anyone. My plan focuses on giving us the best chance of winning our next premiership in 4 years time. The current List Manager is focusing on making us more competitive in 2019. ...

Re: Jack Steven to Sydney??
There are rumours, not from ITKs: Steven and our first pick to Sydney for Hannebery, Parker and their first pick. Make of it what you will. I very much doubt Jack will be traded, the only possibility of that happening would be if it meant we were getting Shiel or Gaff. I'd take it. Hope it's true.

Re: I hate to say it but the path that our new List Manager has taken..........
Fair enough, nobody agrees with me. That's fine. I hope you are all correct and the path chosen by our new List Manager gets us that second flag but I seriously doubt it will. If it goes the way I think it will then you will seee St Kilda in full rebuild mode as soon as 2020 and not later than 2022....

..........can only end in tears. He has cut Freeman and Goddard just when they finally got their bodies right. Short sighted and silly decision. He got rid of Wright and Minch yet they have both showed glimpses. Why? And more importantly, now we have all these spots open that will be filled with cas...

Re: Would you trade Steven for a first round draft pick?
There's been much conjecture about Geelong interested in Steven. I would definitely be interested in trading Steven if we receive their first round draft pick. Why? He's 28 going on 29. Could also put us in the frame to land Dylan Shiel by giving gws our first 2 round draft picks which means we get...

The problem with answering this question is that if I give my honest answer other posters will crack the s***s and call me a troll. Lets put it this way, I don't agree with the strategy of our new List Manager. I have nothing against Hanners but I would not have recruited him. My approach would be ...

It is a fantastic facility. We now have to figure out a way to stop Hawthorn from building theirs just up the road FFS.
