Re: The girls are back! AFLW 2021 ft. Peta Searle
Have followed the girls since their first game last year and my support has been growing. Last night cemented it. Found myself cheering as I would one of the boys games. The tenacity, spirit and skills of the girls is outstanding. Well done Peta Searle!

Rumour Lenny Hayes
Not sure if this has been mentioned or anybody else heard it. Kane Cornes on SEN this morning, when discussing Cogniglio being dropped, mentioned that word is Lenny Hayes is getting ready to walk away from the Giants. Is he preparing to come home to Moorabbin?

Trip to Spuds farm in Ballarat
Nice story about the players, coaches and footy staff driving up to Spud’s farm after the intra club yesterday. They camped overnight at Dan Butlers farm nearby. It was written by Tom Morris and was on the Fox Footy App. Media not invited apparently.

Re: Intra-club Today?
Hill, Geary, Ryder and Parker didn’t play. Hanner played in bursts and was giving a lot of direction. Ross and Webster played and ran around the boundary as well. As well as others mentioned earlier, I thought Kent was good. Marsh seemed to play everywhere and swapped sides. One tough character he i...

Petracca - do we still want him
Out of contract at end of 2020. What chance we have Mc Cartin and Petracca on our list next year?

Re: Training
Most training sessions are ‘open’, you can just wander in and watch (for 1.5 - 2 hrs if you want) These are genuine training sessions. The open training sessions the club advertises are shorter and more casual but fans can get photo’s, autographs etc.

Re: training report 19/12
They have been doing skills sessions since day 1, quite a departure from last year when the emphasis was on running. They do it in small groups according to position and often use the grass area on the other side of the car park for these sessions.

Re: Open Training Saturday 14th December
Today wasn’t a typical training day. They had a long and intensive session on Thursday and most of the players who were inside today trained on Thursday, including King. King is almost in full training. I must admit from what I have seen of him so far I have been disappointed. Beaten one on one, fum...

Not only can he kick exactly the same way on both feet, today I saw him perfectly bounce two footballs, one in each hand, at the same time.

Re: Delisted
Thought young was a bit of an individual, it was all about. Quite always warmed up slightly away from the main Group and didn’t interact with others. Had a kamikaze approach, just hit the player hard and then nothing else. Was quick but had to get the ball first. Just my obs fwiiw.

I gained the impression, that just for a moment in time, he just wanted to be another Saints supporter. He took the scarf off not longer after and presumably put his other hat on.

Well done to Peta Searle and the girls for getting this far in the competition. Playing finals is an achievement, something, dare I say it, the boys haven’t been able to do for a while.

The mystery continues as to why White wasn’t given a go this year. I see he shared the B&F with Seccull. The coaches obviously liked his body of work for the year

Lovett Murray was on the ground at training at Moorabbin for a good part of this year. Helped out generally but seemed to be there to support the indigenous players.

Will we have our first delistings by this time next week? Mad Monday, player interviews Tue and Wed. Who will be first to go? Longer? Rice? Obviously some will be held over to use as trade bait.
