Re: Concerning Recent St Kilda Stories
From the ABC interview with Rod Owen, the Little League apparently wasn't run by the club, the article didn't say who funded the team (jumpers, drinks, etc) but the club let the team use Moorabbin? Did wealthy supporters put money into it? It started as SSB (State Savings Bank) Little League, the ba...

Re: Mid season draft. What every club needs
I can't see why we wouldn't use all four picks if they are signed until the end of the season. A ruck and mids, if anyone else goes down there we're screwed. Most clubs will have at least one pick now and I dont think the talent pool is that deep? Callum Twomey reported most clubs have no more than...

Ben has played in just 8 wins GC are stalled under Dew Surely with just a year left he’s looking at his brother at Saints, whom they both loved growing up, and thinking ...time to move is now? Offload Hannebery and Ben on same $ fits nicely CHF, FF on a rotational basis set for a decade Get it done...

Re: Huge Game this Week !!
I always dread the “brave loss hangover”, and we get ‘Em pretty bad from a fans point of view anyway. Like Gold Coast, who put up a great show, just get done, but then get a horrible hammering the following week. You live in the Land of the Rising Sun, the home of the 3-eyed mutant Fukushima fishes...

Re: Changes for this week
You can't put Coffield back in, after his dismal showing in the VFL. I love the kid, but after less than 10 possessions - seriously??? No Carlisle either. Too slow. Geary for Marshall - leave the rest as is. Give Highmore another go. Coff was on a great trajectory last year. Intercept marks, drive ...

Re: King signs until 2026
Perhaps we should have linked the remuneration to set shot accuracy! Each set shot he misses from under 50m, he should be penalised $2000. Hit him in the hip pocket. He ain't worth $750k until he decides to get serious with his accuracy. Until he can convert at about 65%, he's a huge BUST in my boo...

That's good enough for me Joffa, I felt the same (sorry to say) about Luke Dunstan's game against Box Hill a few weeks ago where he racked up a lot of stats but was practically useless after half-time. I said "sorry to say" because I have for a long time rated him as best 22 but the game ...

Re: Can we still make finals?
There's a huge gap between our best and worse. The only players who get the job done, are Steele and Crouch (Brad had 28 touches n 9 tackles vs Cats) The others might 'try their hardest' and 'are hurting too' but raw numbers say they're not doing their job. Hell, even Skunk goes missing in large pat...

Re: Lonie courage
Yes Lonie showed incredible courage. But Sincs should NEVER have done that to him. It was stupid footy by Sincs, as Lonie was severely outnumbered in size and weight. It was a low % play, just kick n hope. Sure, if King hadn't fumbled, he might have goaled (or missed, more likely) But...a hospital k...

Curly says King's aerial work was the best of both teams. 10 marks says Ol' Curly is correct. But King has been kept ineffectual in most games this year, except for the WCE game. Every team has watched videos of him, relentlessly, and they've worked him out. FACT The Cats' execution of their anti-K...

Re: Dougal Howard's point.
Sitting right on front of it, I thought he handballed it so it would just hang and drop down, but it kept going to the boundary due to the momentum of the push from behind by the tackler. Hoping it might go over the line is not the same as deliberately making it go over. From my angle it looked lik...

u must live under a f***** bridge excellent work Who is the troll? Me? I think Skunk has more COLD games than hot ones. Before King and Marshall came, he was attracting the 2nd best defender so understandably was under pressure. But he's never kicked vital goals to get us over the line. In our poor...

We get guys who were developed at other clubs, who were surplus to those clubs, and initially they contribute well. Then give em time, and their skill level drops to B-Grade after they absorb the mediocrity affliction from the club. Laat yr, Butler finished high in the Trevor Barker votes. This yr, ...

Lonie courage
It was such a 'St Kilda' thing to do. Not Lonie's courage; no... The dinky kick by Sinclair to a tiny player outnumbered, destined to get crunched. If 2 Cats were nearby, there's probably a free Sainter nearby, that could receive in the clear. We keep doing the stupid hospital pass. Time and time ag...

Great.
Another 'themed' game.
We don't go well (Silk-Miller game is the exception, but hey, Jones has hurt his quad as the fallout)
