Re: Changes v Suns

Surely if jones is not in this week than it is confirmation he is serving an illicit substance ban. There hasn’t been a single update on his situation and to my understanding he is training and attending all team meetings.

Have also seen this rumour floating around on Twitter and amongst various FB groups today.

Seems so many people are posting about it there must be truth to it.

Re: Xerri delays contract talk

I reckon if he does come good there will be a quite a few more clubs chasing him Clearly rated very highly internally given he’s pushing Goldstein out of the R1 role. I can’t see us getting him tbh, think he just wants guarantees re Goldstein and job security. Should be a decent replacement for Ryd...

Don't think we need him anymore. Max Heath is looking really promising We need mids I reckon Xerri will shock the league this year has serious potential to be a great ruckman. Watched all their games this season( praccies as well) for SC reasons, been easily the best of their talls and will likely ...

Re: Rating Ratten each week.

Really disappointing from Ratten. If we continue to dish up performances like than than he will be gone by round 15. That being said our list is pretty trash and we lack a couple of star players through the middle.

Also I have multiple memberships on the one account for my whole family and at the moment and there is no way to differentiate which one is which. This is problematic as some are are 3-game memberships.

Re: Reserve Bay Membership Tickets for first 3 Home Games- Seats are Bookable from 11AM 1st March (Today)

Always been an AFL member, but scaled back to GA saints membership this year as I don’t go to many games anymore. Was wondering what the chances are of me getting into the pies game if I just rock up and sit somewhere in GA? Never had to consider this before, will there even be capacity to let GA me...

Re: Training Reports Monday 31st

Please don’t give too much credence to pre-season training. I know it is all we have got at the moment, but premierships are not won in February. The players just need to get fit and avoid injuries. Where was that feedback for pre-season 2021  Is there any factual basis to the discourse that w...

Re: St Kilda. Why so quiet?

Another trade period is about to disappear without so much as a squeak from our footy club. In fact the only thing of note which barely qualifies as a thing of note is a pick swap. Should we be concerned? The answer to that depends on how you view our current list. Is our list good enough to win a ...

Re: There’s a pigheadedness about Ratten I don’t like

Selection is getting reminiscent of Richos time No Carlisle despite three big forwards, yet Geary still manages to get selected. We have several better options . Kent seems an automatic pick each week. Billings has gone steadily down hill since Geelong game. Membrey looks lost. The back line on the...

Geary is a liability. If he is offered another year, and as captain, we are stuffed. Cost us 3 goals tonight, and got the ball rolling for them in the last. bulls*** complete bulls*** Maybe pay more attention to the players and less to the umpires. Your lying. Distributions are made relative to the hand out of feature games in the fixture. As we receive the lowest number of prime time games, we get the highest distribution.

I liked Tom Ledger... IMO he actually played pretty decent games in the seniors when given the opportunity and worked through limited game time with that idiotic sub concept. Really didn’t get enough opportunity however despite being a good VFL player. Siposs had promise early but we really butcher...

Rich getting richer. The AFL is a joke. They offset scheduling differences by distributing extra pay to clubs who receive less marquee time slots. From a financial position, its actually done incredibly fairly by the AFL. We simply dont draw the crowds and TV interest of the bigger clubs at the mom...

2020 Ladder Position Predictions

Now that the fixture is out, i'd be interested to see where everyone thinks we will finish on the ladder next year.

I think we'll be around that 8th-9th area with 12 wins and 10 losses.
