Re: Friday night
Ross admitted in the presser that the coaches muzzled the players, which might sound strange (go for the kill normally) but it makes sense to save the boys for a short turnaround. Someone showed the TOG for several players, they were 75% or less. Good coaching. Being at Marvel, it's better than int...

Re: Team for tomorrow
One dimensional is better than offering FA Sorry to be hard on Cordy, but I’m calling a spade a spade I reckon if Ross Lyon took a s*** in a saints supports living room they’d think it was gold… and literally polish a turd!!! Just because Ross is picking him, doesn’t necessarily mean it’s the right...

Re: How close is DMac?
Will be delisted end of season Why would we persist with him? Taking up a list spot We need to move 5 on Says who? Misson and Co may have a better idea on what's happening with him and planning accordingly i.e. As RTB said, D-Mac's calf is a "legacy" issue so they may have altered course ...

Re: Anyone see this?
We can thank Hannaz for that as we've been pissheads for the past 4 years or so. In "younger circles" it is common knowledge that we have revived the party-boy culture and it was one of the first things RTB addressed when he got behind the wheel. The results speak for themselves and if any...

Re: how are we supposed to improve?!
Fielding the suggestion that all AFLW coaches and assistant coaches should be restricted to women. Merit? I reckon in about 5-10 years it will be the norm. Once a generation of AFLW players finish their playing careers we will see more transition into coaching I.e Daisy Pearce will coach an AFLW te...

Re: how are we supposed to improve?!
Here's a crazy thought, why don't we improve the skills of the players we already have! Coach Nick is great with offence-defence theory but very little else.In three seasons under him which player has improved? In our best 22 how many can pass more then 20metres by hand or foot too the advantage of...

how are we supposed to improve?!
Absolutely staggered with the changes announced for the upcoming AFLW trade period (https://www.womens.afl/news/118308/the-huge-trade-twist-set-to-reshape-aflw-pecking-order)... So Essendon (who finished above us BTW) have a free hit at 2 players whilst Hawthorn (who finished with the same amount of...

I wouldn't be surprised if it's Noble. Serious question, who would be considered a good replacement out there?

These training update videos are one of the best additions in social media IMO. Collaborating with fellow sainters to help provide us all with footage and insights that the club simply cannot. Saints TV paving the way for community-based media and intel!

Training today
Popped down for about 45 minutes today. Here's what I observed; - Decent turnout of fans and media (media for Stocker announcement I'd assume?) - Ross spotted Jason Gram from the middle of the ground, sauntered over, had a chat at the fence for 5 minutes before getting back to it. Gram looks in good...

Re: King
Did you play AFL? If so, my apologies. If not, we’ll then it’s pretty obvious that an amateur vs a professional would be starkly different journeys with regards to recovering from a shoulder reconstruction. I guess it’s not the most positive reading when it’s alluded to the fact that if he recovers ...

Re: King
I highly doubt that you had the same dedicated rehab and resources as King has given that it’s his full time job. All good having a top flight surgeon and physio overseeing it but I highly doubt your experience would be anywhere near the same as King/AFL footballers. He’ll be right.

Sorry to hear about your injury history but I'm sure if you were in an elite sporting environment then your outcome would've been very different. He'll be good to go.

We have got our tickets (not St Kilda Allocation as we were able to get front row 2nd level through general) I was wondering if anyone else was thinking of going and if we know whether the club is organising transport etc? How did you get tickets I didnt they were released yet? The club sent out so...

Thank you to Jake at Saints TV. Unbelievably we don't play Geelong at Geelong or Port away!!!! We play North, the Blues, the Suns and Hawthorn twice! All the games against North, Blues and Hawks are at Marvel!! We don't play Freo in Perth! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1SwbvIstjXk If you’re alrea...

Re: It’s very hard to wash your clothes with no detergent
It's been even harder to rid Ben Dixon's stench from Moorabbin. Honestly, this bloke owes us money as he put himself on the record to say that every team needs a goalkicking coach and if it didn't work then he, should he be a goalkicking coach, would gladly return his pay. Well, Membrey (who was on...

He would be an amazing get and would make up for a lacklustre trade period. The lad can play and at 26 has loads of footy in front of him. Very highly rated by most footy pundits and you can almost taste the bummers tears if we landed him!

No to both. Stack would be good but as other posters have mentioned, his attitude is not up to AFL level. He'll need to go back to state league and prove that he can get his house in order like Stengle did. Aarts is a no from what I've seen but he does have heavy Rob Eddy vibes so you never know!
