Re: POLL: Should <you know who> be banned?
Please respect the fact that rules are in place and if and when a poster needs to be banned because they have broken the rules - then and ONLY THEN will they be banned. I never look at the posters names involved in assessing a report - JUST what was written vs the rules. Thread locked.

Re: Did St Kilda ever consider drafting Jack Riewoldt in 2006?
I am going to chip in here in defence of Bevo. Whilst he had the final call, GT was in his ear. Perhaps a slight bit of revisionist history by GT. Some shifting of blame? At the time there was no question re Jack's marking or talent, but there were big question marks on Jack's athletic profile and a...

Re: Are You Kidding Jaxons
I think that there is a loophole now regarding not more than 2 years running. I am not 100% sure. If so we traded this years first but used our first the year before. So if I am right then we can trade next years first but then we would not be allowed to trade it the following year. NONE of the abov...

Gallagher said on SEN this morning - shown heaps over the past 4 weeks - and the 6 weeks prior to that - looks capable of fulfilling his potential shown in 2017 - he is the reason they are comfortable not having a first round draft pick this year You sound bullish about the kid, are you a sponsor b...

Ross needing to lift? He won the b&f and polled 14 Brownlow votes! Brilliant accumulator. Has improved his defensive side. Needs to: - move the ball on quicker to ensure we are moving forward with speed to give forwards better / cleaner opportunities - improve the speed and penetration of his d...

Re: Jack Bytel's progress from his back injury
Been thinking about the discussion in this thread a bit more and wondered why there isn't more hope shown for Ed Phillips. By all accounts he is ahead of Bytel to squeeze into our midfield before Bytel. His physical attributes and strength in the contest has held him back but hopefully he can be mo...

Re: Facts behind how Hanners broke his ankle
sheez talk about running someones character into the ground, AFL players don't get paid enough, imagine having to live a life under suspicion all the time and always being guilty and never presumed innocent. Do any of these beliefs around Hannebery's character have any basis in fact or is it just t...

Re: Marshall over the moon
Max has pushed a player out Bruce Ryder is a bog average forward and doesn’t really like playing there, prefers the freedom of the ruck (where you cruise around without an opponent most of the time) Marshall will also be an average forward, good ruckman mind you. Max will definitely play R1 Noted t...

I am pretty sure that he had a bulging disc. Not a disk.
Word is he was progressing well in his rehab late last year.

Re: Cross-codes Trading
Ash Barty and Paddy McCartin born less than a week apart. Both super talented. Both have always LOOKED unfit. Both were developing players. Their first 2 or 3 years in senior company were below expectations. Both got fit and started to show signs of their talent. Ash has avoided injury. Paddy has ha...

Re: Cross-codes Trading
How about tennis? Ash Barty is doing ok whilst looking like she lacks elite fitness and looking much more like a local club tennis player. You've clearly never watched her play! I have. She’s great. Love her. Proof that looks can be deceiving. You have missed the subtle reference in my post.

Re: AFL Fixture
We should never have let in GWS and GC. In less than 5 years, the AFL will do the silly 'conference' thing like the US, where the comp is split into 2 groups, and you never play any teams outside your group in the normal season. The top teams in each group go into finals (play-offs?) Bfusa can clar...

Firstly I didn’t think we should have taken DeGoey at 1, I’m on record as strongly suggesting Petracca. The obvious choice. I wish I had suggested DeGoey as it turns out, he is probably the best of the 2014 crop. And when did DeGoey Get kicked off an airplane, have issues with bikie gang members, h...
