Re: Matchday Thread-Saints v Power
I know it is only his second game, and he has plenty of work to do , but the early signs are very good for Arie Schoenmaker . He has a beautiful left foot as we can all see, but also seems to use it more judiciously than , say , Riley Bonner. I also continue to be impressed by Mason Wood’s renaissan...

Re: Trade King
It really was an extremely disappointing performance by Max. When he finally led up for a mark he got a Bronx cheer, which summed it up.
In the last quarter he had multiple chances to grab the game, but failed to do so.
If there is any selection integrity he must be dropped.

Re: Team hoping to switch off the Power...
Of the three emergencies, Jones and Byrnes have been picked for Sandy; Campbell has not, suggesting he will be spare man in case someone goes down in the warmup . It also gives Heath the chance for a full game in the ruck ( where he has had some impressive games this season) .

Re: Power after the bye
So now maybe he will get injured. That would be a shame. Psychic ? Who got injured? I posted straight after Butters went off with what seemed to be a serious injury ( shoulder) , just as Yorkeys had suggested might happen. However , Butters is a tough bugger and, to his credit, returned and was one...

Covid recruits are a bit like any movie made in 2020, not that good.

Vortex - I totally disagree . The Dry , starring great Saints fan Eric Bana, was released in 2020 and I reckon is an excellent movie. The recent sequel wasn’t too bad either.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Suns
With the most sincere of apologies to those who are looking at the finer points of the game in the pursuit of perfection, I actually like it when we compete hard ( which we did tonight ) and won ( which we also did tonight ). Josh Battle showed again tonight how critical he is to the team. I absolut...

Re: Changes for Gold Coast
Arie is listed as an out for Sandy - “AFL”. So he will be held back as the 24th man in case a late out in Seniors. He is not far away from being our 5th 2023 draft player to debut this season.

Re: Sandringham v Frankston
As Otiman said, Max Heath the dominant big man.
Crouch ready for seniors .
Schoenmaker really has a huge weapon with that left foot.
Hastie did some nice things, and Pou and Garcia found a bit of it.
Alas Hotton off with a hammy .

Re: Sandringham v Frankston
Sandy got up to win by a point.
Cooper Sharman was quiet for most of the night , but kicked 2 excellent late snap goals and then took a strong mark in defence to save the game.

Well done lads. 5. Mason Wood . First on the wing , and then as a George Young - like left footed goalkicker. Superb . 4. Hunter Clark . Great return. In and under all day . 3. Marcus Windhager. Changed the game. 2. Josh Battle. Our best in first half. 1. Jack Sinclair. Plenty of others lifted too.
