Re: Some Cause For Hope

Speaking about Aerobic Capacity Cordy and Heath are not AFL fit Campbell (a 31yo 201cm 108kg man mountain) was beating them by 50m of 300m runs! Heath was gassed for most of the session Cordy has the running style of Dane Swan without the speed, power or aerobic capacity Campbell is clearly an outs...

then kicks from set shots anywhere from 50 - 35 out is exactly what we need Around the 30 mark is what most afl game plans focus on which is a direct result of the modern two way game that caters for fatigue. The potential to score beyond 30 reduces dramatically outside of 30 in the modern game. Th...

Re: Dan McKenzie

Was he injured? No he just likes minor surgery on his back, 1year before his manager screamed for an offer, to take care of an injury, he never had since the last time he was out of contract and then played 13 games in two years. I think it might have been a spare tyre or something silly like that.

Average for an AFL team Ball movement was scrappy I’ve been to about half a dozen sessions- in most of them there has been match sim It’s not the first one Most training sessions are very similar if not the same. 1- kick to kick - pairs 2- Warm Up 3- lane work 4 - Touch drills 5- 3 group rotation s...

You might remember Jeff Farmer.

I dont have much n faith in your predictions, your eye tests or you post mortems of past players.

Best you keep whatever credibility you might still have and stop asking me questions.

Max King - 75 Jack Higgins - 45 Dan Butler - 40 Tim Membrey - 40 Cooper Sharman - 35 A lot would need to go right for the above to happen. What would be the odds?? The average goals for a side in 2023 is 276. Highest in the comp Adelaide 320. With 235 from 5 goalkickers, most of them playing lead u...

Re: Development strategies

Sandy has emotional connection in the Bayside suburbs. We don't need to change that, we just need to rebuild them. Helping them win games would be great, I think the current list provides them with both opportunities to employ hardened VFL players and at the other end extend our development with pot...

Heath being ready for debut is hopefully going to happen in 24 for no other reason than to get a look at him at AFL level in 24. Sounds like Keeler might not be ready for debut in 24 or at least early in 24. Heath just got lapped in a 3k by Cordy. He will be natch ready for the VFL in round one. Ca...

Whe you earn 6 figure salaries, you are valuable. But If you don’t earn that kind of money, work cover won't deny you the best cover. Thommo set up the TPP from the draft and did a good job developing the talent he and Bevo took. Lyon inherited some flexible with the retirements of Gehrig, Hamill and Harvey.
