Re: Gay Pride Match
I can understand doing it for the slain Policeman. Why? All workplace deaths are a tragedy what is so special about these policeman? You really are a piece of work. If you can't understand the difference then you are not worth my time. I quite frankly I don't. I know you think they're special but t...

Re: Gay Pride Match
We have a round dedicated to a couple of dead policeman but when we want to have a round which supports a large community in the area we represent then it's tokenism or people are super cynical. The club is building its profile and publicly setting its core values - demonstrating those things it sta...

Re: The other Weller
Gee, even though he was on for a quarter he showed so much. A willingness to try to win his own ball, tackled, worked up and down the ground, possessed the ball with loads of run'n'carry (took three or four bounces), kicked well, penetrating kick to pick out a forward for a mark and goal. And the Fr...

I'm sorry kp83 I just can't get it in my head that racial abuse happens anymore, if someone screamed racial abused at the footy the crowd quite rightly would turn on him/her. My maori friend is also a swan supporter (lived in sydney before moving to melb) and she does not understand why the booing ...

Effort. I think you can give a tick to. Scoreboard Pressure. No Pre game planning. Not one of our best Coaching. Think we were beaten Player selection. On reflection a couple playing sore It's like that guy at the footy club that wins the Best Clubman Award - limited skills but tries really hard. A...

I'm proud to be the father of a fantastic family. There are so many proud people out there..we need to extend the season. What does that mean? Being deliberately cryptic I suspect. ??? I guess congratulations are in order. Good on you. Not sure it compares to being denigrated, discriminated against...

Bullying, paedophiles (apparently, but go figure :? ), the right to be a bogan, the 'chattering classes', left and right wingers gone crazy, standing up on national television, diving, 'invasion day', "go back to where you came from" (to an indigenous Australian - how's that for dripping ...

Re: Gay Pride Match
I am sick to death of being lectured to by the chattering class. I am capable of thinking for myself and making my own decisions without the influence of mob mentality. What's the chattering class? And what are they lecturing on? I saw this in the other thread but didn't pick up on the context so d...

Hey Grumpy....I'm perfectly happy for gay folk to play for St Kilda..or any other team...I'll treat them for their ability, their courage and determination, just the same as any other player... .....but if that gay player chooses to use the footy field as a forum for promoting gay rights, and espec...

If I ever have the pleasure of watching him play again, I WILL BOO THE s*** OUT OF HIM. And I will be standing next to you cheering for him as loud as I can, everytime you open your mouth to boo him, for every one of his disposals and we will see who carries the day. I guarantee you're not going to...

Comparing Milne to Goodes? Really???
He was accused of rape!
If you can't discern the difference between these two what hope do you have of working through the issue and coming to the right answer?

Re: Tom lee
Thought they might give him a run this week. Clearly got that wrong but his defensive work has been really solid and his disposal efficiency has been excellent which is a nice change from watching our backmen butcher the ball coming out of defence for so many years. This guy needs a run in his new ...

This mock draft is so far away from the relms of possibility it is not worth speculating on the third leg.

Adam Goodes needs to understand Newton's third law (that's Sir Isaac... not Bert!) ...but IMHO... the booing??... i don't like it personally....but to each their own. That would be "for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction" He may also consider Newton's First Law A body re...

Re: Round 22 Adam Goodes
This left / right paradigm people continually use is false. It is pushed by a mass media and those who simply want to divide us and polarise the debate. It is a question of liberty where a man gets judged by the content of his character and not the colour of his skin. You want a recent comparison? S...
