Re: 5 years Dan Hannebery?
We desperately need players like him for onfield leadership. I have major concerns about his body and if he can give us 5 good or even serviceable years.

#SaintsFutureFest - what happened
At the end of our season in 2014 when we finished last. Our list managers went on a 4 week spree and resigned a huge number of our young and unproven players. It was billed as #SaintsFutureFest These are the St Kilda players who signed as part of #SaintsFutureFest over the four weeks in 2014: Luke D...

Re: Sharks are Circling
Rodger...you have to face it.....Petracca is a good player and a fair bit better than McCartin. You are on a hiding to nothing with your logic on this issue. Pendlebury has flogged a lot better players than Petracca over the years and thats a fact. You were given a description of what football fier...

Re: 'Fear of Missing Out' Syndrome
The odds don't justify the FOMO label. FOMO is when you don't do what is required and just expect things to land in your lap. We have been contending every year since the VFL was inaugurated and we have only won a single premiership in 120+ years. Richo makes sure the players are aware of that stati...

Not sure Danny Frawley would like him back. Still probably holds a grudge after his coaching days at Richmond.

I had the pleasure of playing a game of golf with this bloke a while back.
Took on a very tough job. Hope he is still doing well.

Re: Soft Saints?
First of all congratulations to BackfromUSA with getting this board back on track. The new software is great. I detested posting on that other website forum.... a weird mix of propaganda, bullies, negativity and over the top advertising. Is this a false dawn or is change finally coming to our Saints?

Re: Saints- Pass or Fail for Trade Period?
Was hoping we would do better.
Thought the currency for Stanley was just about right.
Think other clubs see the Pelican from a mile off now and are a little wary of deals.
So just a Pass for me.

Yeah, they haven't had too much success with their number one drafts. Most of them just want to go home.fugazi wrote:looks like GWS weren't that stupid

Re: Rhys Stanley for Pick #21
Pelchan and Bains and Richo should be congratulated on the way they are rebuilding our list. Did a great job last season, looks like this one will be as good or better. I support the club and team not a player. Good luck Rhys, but I am more interested in the development of our #21 going forward. if...

Re: So McCartin the new number 1
Why aren't more people talking about Tom Lee? I think he's been really solid for such a young bloke. After a few years in the gym he could become great. Because he is not much good And he's not that young, 24 in 2 months Bit small for a power forward and I am not sure he has that mongrel which is r...

Re: GWS now have 4, 6, 7 to trade for pick 1
Brisbane have improved their list considerably through trading this year. GWS have improved their list with Griffen - despite losing 3 first round draft picks, still have another 21 first rounders on their roster, and they will improve again next year as their picks continue to mature WB have impro...

Just take McCartin and run Saints. There is nothing like a power forward and once Roo goes in a few years....

Gotta say I loved the dynamic duo of Thomas and Butterss.
But they were just like alcohol, great until the hangover hits.
