It's simple really. Players should be picked on their performance in the JLT and intra-club matches.
So...
If Paddy is playing better than the other forwards who are after the same position:
* Then he plays
If other players are playing better than Paddy:
* Then he plays for Sandringham

Driving with Paddy
One of my favourite segments from last year was the "Driving with Paddy" episodes.
Anybody know if there are any more episodes coming?

Re: Paddy - now or never!
If you want to know more about what Paddy wears on his arm while he is playing... It's a new blood glucose monitor called the freestyle libre, which is worn on the arm and is a sensor, you just have to swipe a small machine past the sensor and it tells you your blood glucose levels and whether they ...

Re: Paddy - now or never!
Paddy repaid our loyalty to him by resigning a two year extension to his contract.
He is with us until 2020. So supporters had better get used to it.

Josh Battle
I live around the corner from the Moorabbin, so I literally go for a walk everyday around the ground.
Josh Battle is there every single day, either working out in the gym, exercising or training.
Bookmark this bloke, he has what it takes.

Re: Training - 17/12/2018
Thanks for the feedback everyone. I'm a bit concerned that we are starting a week after everyone. I hope the hard training that I witnessed was not a one off. I'm also getting a bit sick of the social media onslaught showing our players in Bali, Europe, Byron .... etc etc. If I had put that sort of ...

Training - 17/12/2018
Firstly, I will say that I have been a bit of a negative bugger regarding the Saints, last year hit my resilience really hard. But hey... what doesn't kill you just makes you stronger. I have been watching a lot of the saints training sessions in the last 12 months. Last year I was staggered by what...

Re: Draft Night Video - Intense!
Can anybody then explain why our video was the only video plastered all over the front page of the AFL website for days? I will say that it was the most entertaining out of the three videos featured. Positives - Liberatore Meh - The others I did enjoy how the AFL couldn't get the phones to work too....

Just go and have a look at the new Moorabbin. Construction on phase 1 and 2 are pretty much complete as of last week.

Re: Welcome Max King
Never been happier with a draft pick than today.
St Kilda has finally learnt our lession.
Pick the best available talent with your low draft picks and fill the holes with your high draft and rookie picks.
Bravo Lethers. Things are looking up!!!

Re: Goddard. We interested?
His best mates in football are still Rooey and Monty.
I would say that he may regret his decision to leave. But that's only my opinion.
Love the bloke.

Re: Max King in our thinking
It would be interesting to see what they were saying about Paddy before his draft. http://www.afl.com.au/news/2014-11-22/meet-paddy-mccartin NIGGLES APLENTY - Lots of little injuries slowed him down in 2014. Because of his injuries, McCartin wasn't able to put together as consistent a season he wou...

Take the best available talent at pick 4.
Don't use it to fill holes in our side with 2 lesser players.

Re: What's Happening with McCartin?
I just think most Saints supporters are just sick and tired of players being selected based on draft order rather than performance. hit the nail on the head there Really? In the lead up to the 2018 season there was a lot of conjecture about Paddy having had interrupted seasons and having been unabl...

Re: Mc Cartin
I've meet McCartin a couple of times out of the football environment. I would say that he is only just a tad over 6 ft 2. Probably average/median height for an AFL player now. He spent the majority of time staring at his mobile phone and not making eye contact with anyone. This is an interesting loo...

Re: BJ Goddard not offered new contract by injectors
Yes we are bereft of onfield leadership. But don't bring back BJ. People forget we didn't trade him out like Dal or Big Boy. He walked out on us in search of personal glory. Not welcome. At the time St Kilda was trying to escape salary cap issues. We received pick 12 in compensation which in turn w...

Re: BJ Goddard not offered new contract by injectors
No thanks, has and has always had little to no leadership!!!!! What evidence do you base this statement on? BJ is one of the most selfish people I have ever met, if he had leadership of any sort, Essendon would keep him!!!!! To put him in the same bracket as Hodge is a massive insult to Hodge!!!!! ...

A big YES from me.
His disposal skills and work ethic will help our young players improve and grow into onfield leaders.

Favourite player of this group was Spencer White. Still no idea why we delisted him, didn't seem to get a game until it was too late
Going OK in the WAFL. Best of luck to the guy.
