Re: Looking forward to 2023?
I have to agree with Scollop here. Sometimes I just watch and wonder where our Senior players go ? Body language of a lot of them is just incomprehensible because I've seen them at their best. I don't like naming on here but I know who they are. I'll name the 2 that never do.. Wilkie and Sinclair. I...

Re: Mother Son Rule
Good point. Due to their season being shorter they should reduce the amount of games to be eligible. I'm sure if there was a Mrs Daicos or Mrs Silvagni the rules would change.

Mother Son Rule
It might’ve been on here before but is it right that an AFLW player could have a gun of a son and he becomes eligible under the Mother-Son rule in the future? Yes, I know I sound desperate, looking for anything, any little leg up, any little advantage, any bit of luck...... it's because I'm now offi...

A few things
I noticed Wilkie spoke to the media this week and in the inner sanctum video he was the one who spoke up. He was BOG by a mile last Friday and is our most consistent. I hope Steele also speaks this week... Ratts said our game plan isn't switch kicking 40m into the middle... why are players doing it ...

1. Players passion for the club
2. Poor skills
3. Poor game plan and poor zoning

Re: Umpires and the WB
We've had a tough year with umps but not tonight. Players should hang their heads in shame. Not Wilkie

Re: Match Thread Saints v Bulldogs Round 18 2022
Owen's and Windhager will form the best midfield in a few years but it's time for Sinclair to join them. Apart from Steele we can't rely on the others. Clearly Sinclair is a mid. Gresham is a small forward pinching in the midfield. Don't like it Gresham, prove me wrong. Bont was a class above all.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Bulldogs Round 18 2022
I think Wood put more effort in than Gresham, Butler, Hill and Higgins combined. Amazing how players reputations get them brownie points.

Re: Ratten
Agree. There are problems down at Moorabin. This list has talent but they aren't bringing it. McGlynn our midfield coach on SEN, Dermie asked if he wanted to be a senior coach one day ? He said no, I don't want the pressure ... hmmmm ? Inspiring stuff !!

Re: Match Thread Saints v Bulldogs Round 18 2022
Obviously none of the players except Wilkie noticed the blue ribbon around Rattens arm. He needs to make a statement in return. Hill, Higgins, Butler need a spell.

Can we chair Wilkie off for putting up with his limp team mates! He needs to be rewarded.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Bulldogs Round 18 2022
THEY DON'T WANT IT !! You know what.. this team do this to me everytime and I'm 53. We unbelievably loyal supporters give our all for them to succeed every year .. NOT US. They have the fame, the money and our dream job, yet we still stroke their ego. They have given their supporters the least back ...

Re: Match Thread Saints v Bulldogs Round 18 2022
Don't despair, they're kicking with a 10 goal breeze. Next quarter let's see who cares ? That was pathetic. Professional footballers and they can't hit a target. They've stopped our run and we can't stop them. Gee we're patient supporters

Re: Shaman , have to keep playing him.
I can't believe you can't see what Sharman brings... he is a one touch player. He is a smart footballer and he is exciting. Let's just keep playing the head droppers when it gets too hard. I won't even say best but those that "tryed". Long, Sharman, Sinclair and Clarke. Do these guys watch...

I just don't get it ?????
What is it with this club. Paddy McCartin played like a Spud with us, chuck another guernsey on .. superman. 50 years of this cr#p. Good teams just don't do this. Why are we always second to the ball. Why do our team always lose free kick count. Why do our team always have poor body language,. Why d...

Whatever it takes to get a reply to my post
I will start with how upsetting last Friday was... I'm 53 and how many times has this team made my family think I'm a nut job and don't like watching footy with me, yet I'm a normal guy outside of that. You fans my age understand, youngsters right now you are starting to get it but spare a thought f...

Re: Match Thread Saints v Cats Round 9 2022
That half was terrible. On paper we have a good side, in reality we have no system going forward. Geelong players no what they're doing, we don't. Any chance we could have someone sit 40m out in our forward line as another option ? When was our last mark 40m out for a set shot? What do they train ? ...

Re: Match Thread Rd 1 vs the Filth
The biggest issue here is passion. Do they care ? Best player at the moment is first gamer Hayes is who they keep calling Marshall. We are being outclassed by Collingwood ? Something is wrong. They need a spray at half time. We can't blame unps, we're second to the ball. Ratten has 2 quarters to fix...

For all the McKenzie knockers I'd take effort over skill. We have too many front runners.
