Interesting dropping Hickey. Not sure Holmes is up to competing with Nick Nat for an entire games on his own yet.

I think one player who needs to step up is Blake Acres. He was pick 19 in 2013 and will be in his 3rd season next year. Still young, I know, but IMO he really needs to start showing something.

I think Hickey plays better when he is the only ruckman. I think they should rest Holmes or send him back to Sandy, play Hickey in the ruck and have Bruce ruck when Hickey's resting. Getting Bruce up the ground might help get some of his confidence back as well.

Yep - well said St Chris. Although I hated the floggings in 2014 I did enjoy watching the younger guys come through. This year has been even better. More new kids, more games into the 2nd and 3rd year players and as a team we've been a lot more competitive. Sure we've had some hiccups along the way ...
