Re: Team v Swans

Can't wait for 6.00pm Sunday, by then it should all be over for another week. Except for the media dross. Ye of little faith. Carn The Saints! Or a realist, they give us faithful nothing, yearly. No end of shite in sight, wallow in ya positivity.   We've been known to beat the event...

Re: King taking time away

It's a worry we play better without Max. THIS 👍👍👍 We would've lost if he were in. I could see us trying to get it to him each time, and have it rebound with interest. Too predictable. We look for him, Rampe and McCartin double team him, and get it to Blakey or someone who sweeps it back through the...

Would still love him to have a shot from 50 on the run!
That stuff is inspirational as much as a goal outside 50 😂

Re: What I have learned

Byrnes runs his arse off. Works hard like Clint Jones used to do. But there were things he didn't execute, whether poor judgement on where and when to go, or similar, that made the coaches send him to Zebs to work on stuff. I think Ross said Zebs is the Saint's nursery and it's where our guys learn ...

Re: VOTES V SWANS

I can't judge the order but...
Marshall, Wilkie, Nas, Sincs, Henry, Howard (who really led from the front), Pou.
I wouldn't put Steele in there, he's just out of my best.

Sinclair in the last

He was running at the ball in between Heeney and another duck and did a typical Sincs thing of using his core strength and brute force to keep the ball in front of him.

Amazing stuff. It's why he's won 2 TB medals

He's learnt to mark without cringing when an oppo is trying to spoil him too.
He seemed to pull his head like a turtle going into its shell.
His game seemed to be confident and composed

I've been hugely critical of Seb, but I'm shocked he was dropped as I thought he was the Golden Child.

Seb brought his talents to the Zebs to further hamper their chances

Being a Sunday arvo with the horrible train+bus services, I wonder if it will break 20k.

And a lot will be Swans folk.

Re: Win to north

I was cheering for the Suns due to Ben Long, Bing and because as a teen+young adult living in Melb with severe asthma, each time I visited rellies in SEQ, my health improved markedly, so I've always loved SEQ, but can't abide the Lions I wanted G Coast to win as well - King, Jeffrey, Anderson, Cloh...

Re: Win to north

Geeez I’d love to raid the GC carcass. Anderson Flanders Bing (not that he was good today) Rowell And that Ben Long looks interesting Bing had 5 kicks 1 handball Disposal efficiency of 50% Which means 3 possessions went to a team-mate's advantage or a 50/50 contest. For a 204 cm skyscraper, that's ...

Predictions this Round

First goal
Higgo

Most goals
Higgo 3

Most disposals
Nasiah 26, Steele 25

Margin
Swans 13

I think Pou might get a nice goal from a free kick after Swans try to rough him up (they can be dirty SOBs)
and he'll get 14-16 touches, most kicks (he's been told to kick more than handball)
