Rookie draft
Can someone advise the selections we have in the rookie draft (if any) to be held on monday.
With Saunders and payne being delisted this has creased spots on the list, however there are the irish boys as international rookies.....way to difficult for me to figure out
Thanks in advance

Re: Pick #25 - Ben Long
I watched a little of the vfl finals including the prelim from which he had a really good game. Not knowing at the time that he was only a top up player for footscray, I walked away thinking how much depth the bulldogs had and expected him to push for selection in the dogs prelim the following week....

Re: Jaxons come on down
As referred to somewhere in this thread, it has to be Tom Lamb of West Coast
Family connection is Grandson of Ian Cooper - member of 1966 GF team.
Been on West Coast list for two years & not yet played a senier game (difficult team to brake into)

Re: Anyone at the game see this?
I mentioned this in another thread, i saw the end of this incident & it was terrible...did not know who was at fault or what caused the issues. however the saint man continually resisted the police while on the ground & was carried off by about 4 of them The absolute terror in the eyes of hi...

Re: List 3 Positives & 3 Negatives vs Freo
The positive for me was the come back from 3 goals down late in the third. To win by 5-6 goals will provide enormous belief in each other & game plan The negative was the incident at the back of aisle 33 at half time. The police had to bring a saint man to the ground before carrying him away We ...

Re: 1996 St Kilda v Footscray
The 1996 footscray game...makes you remember how good joel smith was as an 18 year old. At that stage of career he showed more talent/ability/promise than aussie jones Obviously the knee injury set him back in 97 & would have been useful in the finals of that year....as would have everitt & ...

Re: Just a tad bored - Songs with St.Kilda or Saints n them
Nick Cave's song "Straight to you" has the lyrics "Heaven has denied us it's kingdom" 'The saints are drunk howling at the moon" Not sure if Nick is a true believer, however i can relate to feelings of being "denied heaven" & after drowning sorrows am "dru...

The interview was great. For 5 minutes we listened to Harves discuss his love affair with the saints. He is one of us no doubt. I agree with you Tony, it sounds as though he will be back one day. Did not mention his new employer at all. Fantastic Something that surprised me was Harves comments that ...

Sandy Village Fair
I ventured to the fair on sunday as i normally do each year. With my 2year old 5th generation sainter in the pram. Saw alot of saints members hats in the crowd. I think they were giving them away. Did not stop to talk to the boys, however Jackson Fergy simply looks kike a footballer, tall & lean...
