Re: Roberton back at training

Tend to disagree , I see our finals chances as zip, I honestly don't think we are being well coached and look forward to that being remedied , in the meantime any news of a chance, even if it's a slight chance, of getting back a star of our club , I see that as very positive. Positive in the sense ...

Re: Achy Blakey Heart

Cringeworthy, absolutely cringeworthy video. That's a very nice and supportive comment towards a group of "fellow" Sainters who are trying to bring a bit of life and fun to the footy (especially during a time where we're getting little return from the blokes out on the field). I bet you'r...

Yes, childish, vomit-inducing and cringeworthy video. Not really noteworthy stuff.

Re: Match Thread Maddie's Match Saints v Tigers 2019

Watching from level 3 it was very frustrating to see pointless switch after pointless switch, ending up in a much worse position having to bomb down the line, often when there was someone in initially in the corridor. Richmond would have been loving it. Yes - I wonder how much Richmond were creatin...

Get off the sauce and name your source ss1986. You abuse me, and then want something from me 🤣 Get stuffed. "On very good authority". Who? Don't just start another drivel thread for the sake of it, especially about who you reckon is going to coach an opposition club. Zero interest, put it...

Well done Scollop for not taking the bait. You and Skeptic are quite right - there is absolutely no point in trying to have an intelligent discussion on any topic with him - he is only here to wind people up. As Eric Berne so rightly pointed out, back in the 60's, we don't HAVE to participate in gam...

Re: Saints offer big money for untried ruckman

And exactly how "damaged" is he? Have you talked to the player or his doctor or manager? No, of course not. You have NFI like the rest of us. I bet no one has even heard of him. For all we know he will be ready for pre-season and his body will be a 100% fine. He might be a great ruck pros...

Re: This article just about sums it up.

One of the things I don't get is why our greats allow this to continue without much protest. I see why Harves, Goddard and Ball might take some pleasure in the Club management's abject failures but Dal, Roo, Montagna, Lenny, Blake, Fisher, GT, Stan, Stewie - surely they see their legacy being trash...

Wellard, my memory of it is that on 27th of April, he abused the living sh1t out of another poster - really over the top stuff, over something trivial (even by his abusive standards!!!!!) Was a very reasonable decision by Mods, IMHO.

We've been on the bottom for the last 6 years. Why haven't we drafted at least 2 midfield guns?
Give me a valid reason?
Very good point! There is no valid reason, whatsoever.

He just moved so well, when he had the ball - impossible to believe he played only one game! I thought he was Dale Kickett, at first and that is a compliment - he also was sublime the way he moved with the ball - beautiful balance.

Not sure Richo should be sacked for that but each halfwitted armchair expert to their own. I will disagree though, he was playing in the right team, just unlucky. He'll miss out on some valuable VFL games but an extra couple of months in the gym and running will have him cherry ripe for his debut i...

Very benefecial to watch videos and learn from the likes of Salmon, Kosi, Gherig, Stewy Lowe and Joe Daniher. Max will develop and probably change styles as his body grows as skeptic said, but the exciting thing (if he gets a good run injury free) will be the emergence of a style of his own. I'm wi...

I will be interested in seeing what he is like beneath knee high - given the descriptions of his other attributes He may be the future prototype player Remember both Gehrig and Riewoldt played on a wing and very, very well Imagine a 202cm player accessing the ground from a wing Mids are now the siz...

Great news. Since he was sacked we are seeing a revitalised Roos. Playing as team and with freedom. He has been holding them back for last few years. Has too many favourite players based on perceived endeavour but largely lack necessary skills. Been a poor developer of talent in recent years as wel...

If he doesn't play against the Suns there needs to be a press conference to explain why. Is he being taught some sort of disciplinary lessons while the A-Team forwards blaze merrily in the approximate direction of the far point posts. Perhaps the selectors don't want him to suffer the frustration o...

I guess my surprise was in the essence of a mid year draft....to select a ready to play recruit. Mayo seems to be a decent rookie that could develop after a few years and 10 kilos....so why take him now? Couldn't we find a ready made senior forward out of the 370 players nominated? I can list a few...
