Perhaps i'm naive but I took it more of reward for hard work... i gave him a clap when he clunked one in the melbourne game because he kept going up for them and was unlucky enough not to be able to hang onto them... but to his credit he kept working... I must have missed the spirit of the cheer/jee...

I think Scott sold the senior players a lie... or at least a naiive fantasy... That being that we can rebuild and stay a contender at the same time, he realised this wasn't possible and lost the senior group through sending mixed messages... Either way, I don't think he was terrible, just the wrong ...

the problem with our game is that when a player hits his peak, they usually only have a few years left...

it takes 6 or 7 years to get them there, they have it for 3 years then their body starts to let go....

its a cruel business.
