Bob Murray(Unbelievable)

My wife took myself and the kids to the local pub for a fathers day lunch in Wangaratta when on the big screen in the restaurant I started watching the 71 replay against the Hawks. I proceeded to start telling my seven year old son about the game and wouldn't you know it ,Bob Murray and his family w...

Too Late now Eddie(Hypocrite)

The whole Milne issue is a total joke. Why Didn't big Ed bury the issue and make his coach apologise to milne personally in the first place after the incident occurred last year. How can we blame the Filth supporters for their behavior when their led by a CEO who at the time done jack s*** to condem ...

Good point Spert,i think it gives you a good insight into the different mindsets of one who is a legend coach and the other who is in the top three coaches in the AFL. We aren't blessed by footskill in the backline maybe that's why Ross robs Peter to pay Paul with Dal,but our current form is no coin...

Nick Dalsanto=Midfield

To me it is no surprise of Dal's numbers in the midfield this year. I have always thought that Dal's class was better surved in the middle and forward of the ball. The great Allen Jeans was once asked where he would he play Dal in one of his rare interviews on radio, his response was Quote"A pla...

I was there that night and payed $10 dollars for a bit of the banner which the cheer squad were selling outside the waverly ground.
The night was brilliant and I thought a day flag was a monty, how wrong was I.

I have been a Social Club Member for six years and am lucky if I get to one game a year due to work and Family commitments. I will always renew my membership with the Saints even though my wife thinks I'm nuts due to living three hours from Melbourne . It's a choice that i choose to make and will al...

42 Players To win Premiership(Not 22)

With the game getting faster and more brutal it is unrealistic to think that each team in years to come will rest their more established players(stars) in the future on a more regular basis and expose their entire list more frequently during the H/Away season. Looking at Soccer and Basketball their ...

No doubt the hawks players would not being given the opportunity unless they weren't ravaged by injury, but as I said it gives the Hawks fans hope and it may give Clarkson some selection headaches when all the the big names are available for selection.Good situation to be in I think.

Football Evolves..(Hawthorn)

Due to injury Hawthorn were forced to make lots of team changes against Essendon and expose kids sooner rather then later . Names like Bruest,Paolo,Smith ect....... would not be house hold names at Hawthorn ,but now have shown their supporters that Football evolves and their is life after Lewis,Mitc...

Ross Lyon Risk-Taker v's Structures?????

First of all I would like to state that I am a RL supporter and believe we have the best tactical brain in the coaches box in the AFL,but at times I wish that RL would roll the dice during games before sticking to structures that at times don't seem to be working for us on the day but his stubbornen...

Jason Gram!!!!!!!!

I feel time is up for Gram,in today's footy if you can't hit up targets on a regular basis even with/without pressure been applied and shirk the hard ball get you eventually get found out and become a liability to the team. In his early days at the Lions one got the impression that under the Voss an...
