Re: Phillip Walsh murdered
I'm finding this news tough to digest. So sad for all the crows, that club has just had their heart ripped out and it will be so long before football seems important for them again. Obviously sad for the family as well, as well as losing a father, the son seems to be lost in a different way which wi...

Re: McCartin article - The Age
Josh Bruce is such a great result for our club in terms of shielding McCartin while he does his apprenticeship. Roo is ironically a much better kick for goal these days, so he agan is giving Paddy time and mentoring. Now in a way we're back to the problems of 2012; a desperate need for a key backman...

Re: Elshaugh and drafting
Bit tough listening to Nat Edwards, who seems to think she's on Entertainment Tonight. Cut down on the fake excitement Nat and focus on what you're there for.
Trout is good to listen to.

Re: McCartin article - The Age
Read the last sentence again, you fool. In a correct society you would have full adult privileges removed for the greater good. I'm really looking forward to seeing a 20 year old McCartin champing at the bit after 2 years training under Roo in the VFL to show us what he can do. I hope Roo and Hamill...

Re: Late change might cost us 20k
What about a late change: Roo for McCartin? That DID happen.saintsRrising wrote:Expect it will not be enforced as still ample notice given to all parties, and it would not affect the Bulldogs planning that much. Plus Fisher is > Delelaney.
Now if it was Roo for White...that may be different.

Re: Team v Bulldogs late change Fisher out Delaney in.
How would people feel about trading Dempster to a team who need a bit of backline experience for finals? Still very skilled and fit, we need to improve the backline with young players who will develop together. Not pushing for it, just a query. Flame on!

Re: Late change might cost us 20k
Delaney should have been an emergency. Dunno why the emergency list is only 3 players. This is exactly the situation it exists for. One player from each part of the spine surely?

I think that needs to read...'why come on here if you don't have the same expectations as Pluggs...' This is a forum you utter... To suggest we cant/don't have a myriad of views and differing approaches for what makes our club great is perhaps your crowning glory in a litany of ill advised, poorly ...

Re: The other courage- Guerra story
So in between accusing your club of willfully tanking without any evidence and despite all reason to the contrary, accusing other posters of not watching a game before and after they'd posted a photograph of their TV showing it, and potting a player who represented the Saints with distinction and wh...

I agree with you, as you may have gathered. The world is full of people who do things I disagree with. I admire your stamina, but you won't change his mind, he understands your position and neither 'side' will affect the club, unless we start getting loads of fans turning up and cheering for the opp...

May seem like a stupid question on a Saints forum depends, but yeah it prob is but some on here have shown they don't care if the Saints win or lose games this year yes thats true, i dont see a prob with that tho..each to their own but does anyone actually want to lose this week against the WB to g...

I have a vivid memory of you attacking me for stating that i had been told, and I had, that this year was mainly about ladder position. So now you are a man of peace. Don't make me laugh. Oh, and for the record, I want to win as many games as possible. Vivid, eh? Remember it word for word type vivi...

Far out, this is turning into a dead set civil war. I'm as guilty as the next man, but over 4 threads about it now and most of us picking sides. People using this to ignite their old personal battles. No one is going to change their opinion here are they? No one is going to say, "oh good point,...

Re: The other courage- Guerra story
$20 for lunch? I've been out of Australia for a while but since when does it cost that much for one lunch for a person on the breadline?
But I suppose I see your point. It all adds up.

Re: Great win by Melbourne
The silly ways you twist the argument to avoid answering a question. You will never answer it honestly. Never mind, it doesn't matter. What matters is that that attitude of preferring your team to lose doesn't spread to a noticeable percentage of Saints fans. I'm sure you'll be cheering with the res...

Re: Game v Doggies
I wonder if Richo and co will use the psychological effect of their humiliation from the last time we played them. You would imagine the Dogs will really want to win this game and show us that the last game was an aberration. Will they try to break us early or will they wait til the 2nd or 3rd quart...
