Hitting up a leading target would help too. If Johnson or Siposs plays then the midfielders better lower their eyes and hit the leading target instead of bombing to a 1 v 3 as usual.

Terrible decision to play a half fit player. It never, ever works and yet coaches keep persisting with it. Play fully fit players willing to die for you and you never know what might happen.

As if that wasn't a free kick to Bakes when he "marked" the touched kick when Geelong jumped into his back. If that was a mark, in any other match it would of been an automatic 50 metre penalty and we don't even get the free FFS!!!

I couldn't believe how woeful we were skill wise tonight while being crucified by the men in peuce but, if you think about it, we were still in the game for most of the time and, with a bit better efficiency, could of even won. I don't know why the skills have dropped off so much.

I don't know what's happened to him lately. He used to be so good at those marks running back into a pack and taking the mark. Tonight there were 2 or 3 instances where he could have taken one of those marks but just didn't go for them.

I don't particularly like Gilbo as a footballer but after a woeful start tonight, I thought he really got into the game halfway through the second quarter and really attacked the ball hard. I think every kick and handball after that was good.

He might have turned the corner tonight.

I would just say that Johnson should be played forward and may be able to be a big gorilla forward (like Dawes, Cloke, etc). It would also be good to see him as the actual full forward for at least a few minutes a quarter.
