Butcher was another guy like Darling who looked like a bolter that fell away. He was highly rated and looked top 5 at one stage. Genuine forward, I didn't know where he ended up but would love to get him. John Patton is a potential Riewoldt and will go high in the draft would love to get him someho...

I reckon he's carefully managed at VFL level for maybe 3 or 4 weeks, then maybe come in off half back, or as another midfielder.

Welcome to the Saint-Asylum, Nick. For the record, when was Rhys' last game? I seem to recall seeing him late last year against North Melbourne or the Dees. He looked okay back then too. Yet to watch him this year, as I haven't had the chance to watch any Sandy matches. Round 5 V Brisbane 1 mark, 2...

I reckon Paul Roos and Matthew Knights.

Roosy would provide a calm head in the Box with Ross, and having an old mentor just has positive effects IMO.

While as much as you can accuse Matthew Knights of being s***, his development of youth and attacking abilitys are extremely potent.

Because at no point in time was he offered to us. One of Wellingham or Goldsack was offered to North for pick 21. North only wanted to give up 25, bulldogs wanted at least 21 for Everrit. That went out the window. We then offered Ball for a straight swap for Nathan Brown. Collingwood refused. They o...

Lol James Hird.

Mark Thompson is the senior coach. You watch ANY game (especially on Foxtel) and "Bomber" is moving the board, yelling down the phone, talking to the players etc.

Out: Gilbert, Simpkin. In: Walsh, Lynch With Geelong only playing J-Pod and Vardy, Dawson and Gwilt should be more than capable of handling them. While we're discussing money, if we have it, going after a couple of experienced assistants, possibly Roos and Matthew Knights would be good I reckon. Having Lyon and Roos there would be like dynamic duo, while you can't argue that Knights was good in both terms of development and offensive play. As...

Jesse White is an obvious one to support McEvoy. Not sure what we'ld have to give up. Bate is capable of playing at AFL level, I would like. Not sure what the rabble known as Port have to offer, most good players would be too expensive, too old, too young or have dodgy knees. Might be worth cherry p...

If Gram gets his game together, he will still be a valuable player for us. Polo, Peake and Dempster have been in practically career best form, because their careers do depend on it. Jones, although he had a slow start, has picked it up recently with good performances on Hill and Davey. Clarke will b...

Lynch seems likely to play. But Sippos may miss. Would think it's a good chance for Johnson to come in again. Blake out, defensively, is only an issue if Brown plays. Otherwise, Gwilt and Dawson with Fisher and Gilbert relieving should be fine. Kosi in for Blake. Baker in for Dempster seems straight...

Odd gait, but very effective.

Quite a lot of ball in midfield.

Goes forward and kicks goals.
