Re: Surely not the next best coach

Just throwin this out there, if he has no love for the club, but is simply driven by the need to satisfy KPI's, this should be fantastic as he will go with the brain and not the heart. Passion can maybe cloud judgement- can't see the forest for the trees. Maybe he won't worry the old guard with SW'...

Re: Surely not the next best coach

His proven ability to work with Pelchin - we've had 2 coaches depart amid strong rumours of "disharmony in the footy department". The board have seemingly given Pelchin full control, no point having a senior coach continually butting heads with him. Also, Choco's ability to give a spray i...

Re: Dermott loves our club now

Worse than Melbourne according to Dermie He also said that Scott Watters is a mate of his and he (Dermie) has a policy of "NO D!CKHEADS" in his circle of friends. Normally, one per group is enough !! So dermutt isn't even in his own circle of friends? :D The most damming thing about Watte...

Re: We have lost our identity

My early years following the Saints were at the Junction oval. When we moved to Moorabbin I felt like a lot of the current fans do about Seaford. Moorabin seemed so far from anything. But after a couple of seasons Moorabin felt like home, but we were playing our games there, that helped to make it ...

Re: Saints at the Brownlow

I've said for a long time, the umpires just aren't the best people to be judging who is BOG, they should be too busy concentrating on the contest to even notice who is doing what. never WAS - never HAS been an award for BOG it is fairest and best - you dont know how many sprays roo gave off that ga...

Dear Caro thanks for 'exposing' St Kilda's apparent culture issues. I also heard you on Adelaide radio recently discuss the same thing, and bringing up Ahmed Saads once off sports drink mistake, and the St Kilda school girl incident as examples of the culture issue. Long bows indeed. I look forward...

Who in their right mind would trade with Essendon, given that there could be some major sanctions with their current player list.

Re: No.1 Pick - Tom Boyd

Even if the Saints want that deal, McEvoy would have to want to play at the Giants and I can't see that being the case. Reckon there's a 99% chance the Big Boy will be at the Saints next year and we should be glad to have him. While I agree with your post #GILL please dont call McEvoy Big Boy. That...

I just tweeted Barrett. I thought Dermot was a bit patronising towards us this morning when the SEN nerd asked him if it was important to play Kosi. He said that successful clubs would not worry about milestones games but given our history he should play. PIGS ARSE. If we were shooting for top 4/fi...

Name me a fwd in AFL/VFL history who suddenly became a good fwd post age 22 without kicking any goals in lower footy competitions?
