There was a comment in the HUN the other day by a fan asking why the hell Michael Tuck has never been included in the HOF.

Is this correct? If it is, it is a damn disgrace - he should be there ahead of so many other players.

Yeah, gotta agree wiith all this.

Only saw the second half of the game this morn on replay. He stood out to me as our most consistent player in a very scrappy game.

He looks so un-co but has a very deceptive balance about him. Top game

Going down with the family so looking forward to it. Is there a place some saints supporters will catch up and say hi?? I have two kids so can't really hang out at the pubs too much but would like to say high. That includes you saintBrat  Being a Suns member, naturally I'll be there. Closer t...

I wasn't comparing cricket to AFL. On the world stage, cricket is hardly up there with other sports. Ok, I stirred up some stuff... while I acknowledge warne was good at the game, he is annoying with his public antics. Like a lot of other Aussies, I'm sick of this tedious nationalistic worship of ch...

Cricket IS a minor sport in the world sporting landscape. I used to like watching it years ago, but it has rapidly declined in standards, and now is a joke.

Warne is a tiresome spoilt brat who loves the limelight.

Warne isn't relevant anymore so he has to stay in the public eye.

An over rated 'sportstar' in my book, as I don't regard cricket as a major sport.

Are you involved in footy up there, CM? I played 110 senior games with Souths Balaclava, who are now South Cairns Cutters. Played in afew rep teams as well. It was a good comp to play in, as there were some top players amongst the clubs, guys who would travel to Cairns each season. You go out on the...

Your Freshwater CM , isnt far from Redlynch. That place has been decimated by development.
We used to love going up the Cascades then back to the Red hat for a beer.

Now it's as busy as Bourke St

No, I left because the novelty of living there wore off. It was a great place in the 80's, even with the heat and humidity.
But too many people moved there and it became too much like a city instead of a big country town

Lived in Cairns from 84 to 97. Plated footy up there too. Finally got sick of the place. Went back last year for a visit and it's a s*** hole. Too many people and traffic is ridiculous - might as well be in Brissie or here on the Coast. Agree about Cazalys though - excellent facility. I played footy...

The salary cap being introduced in 2000 completely changed the NFL. On one hand, it made the comp more even, with a lot of different teams getting to the Super Bowl. But it did kncok the standard back quite a bit, compared to the late 80's - early 90's. The Niners and Cowboys of old would've spanked...

Nice post. I've followed the NFL for 23 years and love the game. My team is the 49ers. One thing that's always puzzled me - they sign up ex Aussie rules guys to punt, fair enough But why have they never got an AFL star to be a receiver? Our footy players have better ball handling than any sport in t...

Oh, forgot to mention that Podsiadly played deep for this game. I think cos the ground is smaller.
He normally plays up the ground more at the G.

My thoughts on the Suns? I think they'll be top four in three or four years.

Cat observations

No, its not a pet advice thread! Went to the Suns/Geelong game on Saturday night and thought I'd put down some observations I gained first hand. Mooney is just about gone as a player. Ok, he's still worth a game, but he seems to have none of the rage anyway. Pinch hit as a ruckman, and is used a s a...
