Wow I joined SS in 2010. You know what's most incredible about this thread? Riewoldt is STILL captain and ALL of those names have moved on. Not only that, but it was really only this year, 10 years on, that we had a real answer to the question.

The "Saad" clock is now going to be tested. Is his walkup really that annoying to people we now have to change the rules again? Also, I don't recall him ever being over the 30 seconds/play on rule they implemented in 2012(?)

Likewise. But these are the games to make the mistakes and learn. I can see him making the most of an AFL game at some stage this year.

Very funny guys but does it strike you as little unprofessional? Compare that to McCartin's interviews. Maybe his character was the tipping point?

No we don't. But I'm inclined to trust that he won't ever make that mistake again. And I can see him being a real reminder to everyone else the effect that a mistake like his can have.
