Re: I was wrong about Jack Steven

Perfectionist has a few issues relating to the fact his footy hero let him down by doing something bad. It's hard having tarnished role models but he'll get over it one day. I usually buy my kids a lolly or distract them with a bit of telly until they calm down and eventually the tantrums stop. The...

Re: Any reports or just argy-bargy?

Well Milne was already at his positon when Walker blatantly lined him up. Good on Milne for standing up to him. Absolute disgrace and the umpire should have put a stop to it then. But no, stood there and watched the jumper punches and then wrestling. Did nothing.

Re: Half time entertainment

Funniest part was when he tried to get the Collingwood chant going at the end. What a massive fail. It really showed how interested the crowd were. The usual participants must of been either outside having a smoke or getting their half time fill of beer.

Re: I was wrong about Jack Steven

Yes those Geary and Gilbert comments were so complimentary, I really can't wait to see an actual good comment about a player. Whatever keep on bagging cos that's no doubt what you have done over the last 50 years of watching football. I have been watching for 35 years and unless I have some power at...

Re: I was wrong about Jack Steven

Did you not bag Geary and Gilbert as well. My god when you bag three players in the one post I consider that bagging them. Give us some positive comments about other Saints players from tonight's game and maybe it will change my opinion but as far as I have seen in this post it is a continuation of ...

Re: I was wrong about Jack Steven

I was at the ground as well. Not watching on tv or listening on the radio. What I saw were mistakes sure but there was pressure and intensity from the opposition. Mistakes were made by more experienced players than Jack. I guess not everyone can be a "perfectionist" like Perfectionist. Eas...

Re: A comment on Saints history.

I have friends in Portland, Oregon. Visited them in 2010 between 2009 and 2010 Grand Finals and gave them Saints scarves as gifts. They were wearing them with pride for both grand finals and were upset that we didn't win. Didn't like the draw. Wondered why the game wasn't decided then with extra tim...

Re: "The Goose, The Goose, The Goose is on Fire!"

Matt Maguire was, is and will be a better player than Zac ever will be. If Matt had never broken his leg what a different story his AFL career would have been. Zac probably would never have been at St Kilda and really what did he do that was so great when he was there? Love the Goose. Hated that he ...

Didn't he get hurt early in the game. I thought he was gutsy with the thug Merret and Brown smashing the packs.

Hubby (Bomber supporter). Son (Saints). Me home sick. Husband texts me during the last qtr and says would leave if it wasn't for our son. I text him back saying disgraceful....gotta take the Bad and the good. He had to stay. Not happy. Haha.

Re: 2nd biggest win ever over Bombers

All I know is that my husband is a Bombers supporter and for the 26 years we have been together, Saints wins have been few. He is not a happy man today (but I am having a quiet chuckle for a change as well as the two kids who have been well trained as Sainters).

I am sorry not to be there. Very sick at home. First game I have missed in Melbourne this year. Barracking at home even with a very sore throat. Go Sainters!

I decided not to renew my reserved seats for exactly the same reason. Waste of money if you end up having opposition sitting behind you. May as well sit in general admission.

Re: Dirty tactics by the Roos?

After the Saad incident the goal umpire made a note of the incident and I did see the field umpire speak to Firrito shortly after and point to the area on the field where it happened. Hopefully Firrito gets looked at by the MRP.

Re: OUR Cheersquad !!

Just finished watching the replay. Have to say that at the end where the cheersquad sit that block behind the goals had the most people left. It was all the reserved seating around that was empty, pretty much like the level 1 wing and the first 6 or so rows up on level 3. It seems like every time th...

Re: Matt Maguire

Have to disagree. Matt was always very nice to my son, who is now 13. He always would have a chat and ask how he was. Always had time to have a photo taken. Last time we saw him was at the GF replay and he was only too happy to sign St Kilda jumper and photos even though at Brisbane. He would have t...

Re: Our Cheer Squad

Really sad that all you can do is be critical of group of supporters that do a hell of a lot more for the club than the majority. To say "sack the current cheersquad and re-hire others..." well they are not paid and do it all to support the club. As others have posted if you don't like it ...

Re: now THAT was a real Family Day!

Would have liked to have gone but what do you do when you have to accompany your daughter to the One Direction performance at the Logies, you miss out on the Saints Family Day. Sounds like it was good. We went to training on Friday to make up for it but if we could have been at Moorabbin we would ha...
