I do highly rate Stanley and expect we will see wonderful things from him but he is not the right fit to come in for this game IMO

As others have said the only likely out will be Gardi and even though its not said and done I would imagine we would see Big Ben in for him.

It was also a great initiative by the club to give out those free flags before the game. They all looked fantastic at the game and on the TV. Those flags came from the AFL, they gave out filth ones at the other end. But it was fabulous to see the red white and black at the punt rd end, I was right ...

I thought the fans at the game were brilliant. It gave me goosebumps seeing our red, white and black flying high and hearing everyone in full voice. I was so proud. I cant say what it was like at the game but from the telecast you guys did a great job of breaking up the pies chant. Hopefully our boys...

I may have to write formal letters of apology to my neighbours though, I cheered the place down, lost my voice pretty much.
Also talked to myself quite a lot but dont worry I didnt answer.... so I am not crazy...just yet

I find my faith in our boys and Ross. They dont look nor have they acted like broken or beaten men. At the same time I think the strong and humble leadership of guys like Roo and Lenny will keep them grounded and focused. The fire still burns in our boys, their heads wont be easily turned by media. ...

Must remmind myself that it would not be the best career move to kick our delivery man in his jatz crackers for suggesting that our boys did no good on Saturday and that I will change my colours at our work footy colours day this friday

I know they could all be forgiven a moment or two of shock. I fell to my knees at the final siren and I was just watching at home but they collected themselves quickly and so well. It was a great thing to see.

I was full full of anxiety yesterday right up until I watched Ross on OWAAT. I then went straight to bed and slept like a baby.
I agree, whatever Ross has they should bottle it and sell it to all us Saints fans.

I think I have possibly suffocated myself with the Saints Bubble because I wasnt nervous. I had tears before the game, just all the pent up emotion and then seeing Harvs in the pre game entertainment package, seeing our boys run through the banner and all the wonderful saints fans decked out in our ...

I saw that too! It was a nice moment and they both looked like happy boys. Spoke well of their frame of mind after the game I think. Faces still flushed from the battle but with ready smiles. Same goes for BJ when the spoke to him on the ground, he was upbeat and happy. I like to see that from our b...

The Saints Bubble is a good place to be. You put your trust in Ross and the boys to never give up (which they didnt) you embrace the love of all things red, white and black. And try and block out the million and one things being said in media. Come what may you back the boys in and cheer your heart o...

I was pretty surprised there myself degruch. Of course we all wanted the win bad and we had a little taste just for a moment after BJ kicked that goal. But our players dont look like beaten men. There seemed to be smiles a mile wide at the recovery session. I just dont see how he could be so down.

Looking to the positives

Im so glad posters on here seem to be positive and have praise for the good things our guys did. Yeah there was maybe some guys who are capable of a bit more but they will get their chance this weekend. We were down a player with Gardi out of commission, came back from a half time deficit. Lenny jus...

Happy with that outcome, thought all incidents were handled well at the time with free kicks being awarded and thats all that needed to be done.

I am the first to admit I am completely soft hearted when it comes to our boys in red, white and black. I wouldnt want to take anything away from a premiership medallion being special but a team plays a whole season to make it to finals.

Did anyone notice the commentary blooper between Dennis and Bruce? Montagna hurriedly cleared a ball out of defensive 50 and it landed inches inside the boundary line. Dennis says, "cue me Bruce" Bruce, excitedly, just jumps in with, "centremetre perfect" Dennis was like, "...

I've got the giggles up again now! Not at poor Dennis but it would have to have made play of the day if that happened!
