On Saturday night in the first half of our game, I was feeling pretty negative myself. Thinking we'd get smashed if we managed to get there. Combination of frustration of how we were playing and how good pies had looked the night before. But then we turned it on. What WAS going on in the first half...

I also thought Zac was really good against Buddy earlier in the year.

Fullback could be considered the most exposed position on the ground - when you do make a mistake or get beaten the impact is often on the scoreboard so more noticeable.

It was awesome.

Even Carlton want to do whatever they can to help the Saints win!! Or maybe that should be to see the Pies lose....!

I can't get youtube at work but have goosebumps just reading the descriptions from you all!! Losing the GF made me forget about the pure joy of the week before, knowing we would play off in the big one. Thank you for reminding me - it's exactly what I need to get me in the zone for tomorrow night......

Definitely feeling a mixture of nerves and excitement! Can't wait for Saturday night but dreading it at the same time. Winning the qualifying final puts you in a nice bubble for two weeks. The pain of 09 has slowly washed away. We always hoped we would be in the mix again but to actually be here on ...

Prelim in Sydney

Hi everyone

Does anyone know of a pub in Sydney where they will be showing the prelim on Sat night?

Preferably in the city / Darlinghurst areas.

Thank you!

Echoing the comments of other on here it is only controversial or probably more to the point newsworthy this year because 1. It is Collingwood 2. The two so called "best teams" happen to be playing each other in the prelim because we spolied their party I always thought that the "carr...

There has been a marked improvement in injuries since Dave Misson took over so if they ARE doing this because he thinks it is a good idea then it is good enough for me.

I did a tour of the MCG a couple of years back - has anyone else seen that big tapestry that commemorates I think 100 years of the ground? Well it depicts all the greatest sports stars and rock stars that have graced the arena and Plugger is on there and he is wearing a Saints jumper and I have alwa...

I haven't been around this forum long enough to know if you are all taking the P155 or not but for what it's worth this reminds me of the Ben Cousins debate and the Saints declined there... so Aka a Saint not likely :)

If we are good enough we should be able to win it anywhere anytime! The time and location of the match is more an issue for us supporters than the players IMO... Personally I love a Friday or Saturday night game... great excuse to have a few drinks. Sundays are hard work - or more to the point work ...
