Armo busting his guts...

Was rapt with Armos last quarter. Shows that his tank has definitely been boosted and that he has the will to push on through a whole game. His attack on the ball wasa savage and did so great things in close when the game was up for grabs. Great stuff Armo keep up the good work !

Of course he drilled it ! Right through the big sticks for a goal ! The fact that a kid copped it was unfortunate but BJ did not consciously single the kid out as some may suggest. Unfortunate yes, deliberate no. Great win by the way, lucky he did drill it and made sure it went through. What would b...

Said to my mate after the game ...This is what Premiership teams do...One of if not the most gutsiest, team galvanising wins i will ever see. Everyone that played last night has belief ! In themselves, each other and the game plan that they are so so disciplined in. Showed the greater football publi...

I really do hope Armo takes the next step and that he gets the oppurtunities afforded to blokes like Eddy who from what i saw failed to deliver in all his games. The bag of tricks that Armo has at his disposal ( goal kicking ability, vision to set others up for goal, hard nut attitude ) all seem to ...

Thing is ...we lost it If we dont all suck it up and look as to why we lost and to how we could of won it( forget the missed shots the game was up for grabs at the death ) then we will get freakin no where. Ross thought him fit enough to take the field so why not...If he wasnt fit to be on the field to play a role anywhere on the field then why was he there ?

scores were even for at least 15 mins of the last..in that period we did not score, well for the quarter for that matter...goals that is. My query is about specificly the last 5 minutes... game in the balance...do we go same same to a structure that had not delivered either a contested mark in the f...

only 1 question, why no change made

Was at the game and have watched it 3 times.. Can not fathom why when the game needed to be won, and as our forward set up was not working ..why wasnt a move made to change up the forward structure ? Kosi to the ruck, Gardy to the square Dempster to a tag role and Bj to the square ...isolating a mid...

Unless Eddy can hurt them on the scoreboard or create goal assists, the Cat rebounders will be rubbing there filthy little paws. Am yet to be witness to the pressure he creates or his tackling skills or chasing skills to run blokes down so am still curious to his role as well. Creating space ? Why n...

How does that happen when we are the home team..or the higher qualifier ? People in the know and every man on the street has been telling them that they need a tall forward and a tall back but they were too stupid/ up themselves to bite the...

When you let the dogs run/carry they will cut you up...Harbrow did as he pleased and they were able to get first hands on the pill. Pressure by the Lions was non existent so dogs did what they do best. We will not let them do this and have showed in the 2 home and away games that they fall apart whe...

as an example - for the hawks, barry hall has been touted as a potential lead up forward, along with buddy, to allow roughead to play deeper near the goal square. i reckon steve johnson fits the bill perfectly - if only mooney and hawkins were better. who do we have as an option? no one really come...

A lead up forward is the player that provides an option across the forward side of centre wing as the ball is coming out of the half backline. Many believe that having Gwilt, etc as this option allows Roo & Kosi to play within goal scoring range. While Roo can play this role better than any oth...

I actually disagree about where Roo is his most dangerous. I believe that early in the game, Roo's most damaging work is done on his continual long searching leads where his opponent is 'put to the sword' fitness wise. Having watched Roo a lot he seems to 'put the question' to his opponent early an...

Third tall / Lead up forward

For reasons unknown we still have not settled on, or experimented enough with a person who can play this role with some sort of confidence or authority. Gwilt has had his chances and seems unwilling to make this spot his own, even though I think he is the best body type for the spot. I feel that thi...

I think he has 3 games under his belt this season and is just starting to get used to the pace ,going by his numbers from last sunday I think he deserves to keep his spot but may get pushed out due to Ball and Gearys form in the twos.
