Is anybody else getting a 12:00am start for the Round 22 match at AAMI? We must be trying to get the TV ratings in the US up a bit. Apart from the usual, we travel 6 times interstate and Collingwood only travel 4 and the AFL will use the excuse "But that's what the Clubs have requested" (I...

Does anybody know how many players Paul Connors has in his stable? That list that Ace put up shows that somebody has not done their job very well. Last minute negotiations are always fraught with danger, as time makes the eliminates the ability to thrust and parry. It usually ends either with 1 side...

Hey Ralphy, you been listening to a little bit too much Leonard Cohen? I've always loved his music to "slash your wrists". Yes, the Saints will be the hunted next season. Yes, other sides will improve phenomenally. But yes the Saints still have a fantastic line up who have all shown they w...

It is interesting that St Kilda is seen to be the "bad guy" in this failed trade now. Reality is that one of the teams has managed to negotiate many deals, particularly since Ross became head honcho, the other team involved has not been able to get many deals completed.....ever. The Saints...

I would love for Luke Ball to remain a Saint. He is a quality player, hopefully almost over his injuries. More importantly, I see him as a quality leader and quality person. He can have a big influence on the team and other players through his people skills. I see him as another Peter Bell, his infl...

Last week they said, "We don't fear traveling", which is easy to say when you travel less than any other club in the AFL. This week they say, "We don't fear St kilda or Geelong", which is easy to say when you are not playing either side until the finals. What will the great claim...

I love this.

As one of the many thousands who used to sit and stand in the puddles at Moorabbin during those bleak days of the late 70's and 80's, it is fantastic to watch this team play a brilliant team game of football.

Thank you Ross Rooey and my beloved Saints. I am a happy man.

I'd like to keep the lid on.

But I've just bought 4 Perth Melb tickets and AFLPA Grand final tickets to get us all over there for that last Saturday in September.

I'm a bit excited.

In 97 I flew from Jakarta to Melbourne for the grand final weekend. It was a long flight home.

One of the best games I have ever watched.

Geelong through everything they had at our boys. This new breed of Saint absorbs pressure very well. At no stage did anyone drop their head.

And that Gardy mark.......legend.

I'm feeling very warm and tingly now.

Sorry Ballsy.

I just listened to about the last 10 minutes of the game. It was difficult to get the streaming working. I guess they have a limited outlet.

Hopefully, some of our Saintsationalists can give us a review when they return from the game.

I remember the day that Joffa played on G Ablett at Moorabbin, the two of them spent all day taking screamers on each others backs, it was incredible, it was like they were trying to out do each other. This is the game I always tell my boys about. I loved Joffa's efforts, he would have had more tha...
