Tomi Johnston is the son of Wayne (the Dominator) Johnston. Zebraman will be able to comment on his more recent performances, but as a junior he had a great football brain, showed some potential. He did train with the Blues at some stage.

Give it a year or two. You can only draft the best available at the time, they must fit into your team plans, you'd like longevity or immediate impact (depending on the stage you're at) Over on Perth last year it was the why waste a pick on Nic Nat, Daniel Rich was a stand out, Stephen Hille was a s...

The price of public transport is included in the cost of all tickets (AFL, Rugby, soccer)

It's a great idea, as it makes you consider public ransport as an option as you've already paid for it.

However, there's no train station near me, and I'd have to catch 3 different buses.

It was Tony King.

He received 2 or 3 brownlow votes for his "surprise" first game

Didn't play another descent game.

Went on to head the Basketball league.

Weirdest thing on the the day of the trade, the whispers running around the ground. Greeny's gone it was a strange day.

I was listening to the radio broadcast (SEN) they mentioned that it was because of Jones being held.

I couldn't see anything of it when I watched the replay later.

Great signs. The boys can still win, when they don't all play brilliantly, the younger brigade know what's expected of them and the game plan is followed by all. Excellent win, considering the Filth through everything into that game. I can't see them improving a lot from there as there were very few...

Attempting to claim performance and Best & Fairest bonuses is drawing a long bow, isn't it? Important to note that nothing has been submitted yet, it's easy to say "we're gonna claim 2mil for bullying", but I'm sure his lawyers are going to be pretty busy doing...I dunno...maybe prepa...

doe anyone know who the ring in player who looked a litle like aaron fiora was? played in various nos. 16, 33 and others. Jonno Nash, now with Sandringham played. It could easily have been him. How did he play? Plugger66 did you go? If so, did you know how Jonno went. I only have family reports, so...

Jonno loved the experience.

It made him realise what a step up VFL was compared with TAC.

Here's hoping he and the Zebras have a big season.

I enjoy having a beer with Russell whenever we get back to sunny Melbourne

Zebraman, my nephew Jonno Nash is down there this year as well. He is absolutely loving training at present.

We're hoping he can have a big year and get over his reputation as a boy with a troublesome knee.

It doesn't matter what Collingwood pay him. His salary has to be recorded as $500,000 per annum (unless he is paid more).

It's a mighty big chunk out of a teams salary cap.

Good bye and good luck to Luke Ball, once he had lost the passion to play with the Saints, it really was time to go. The club needs to be commended on how they handled this situation. Not rolling over to Collingwood's typical take it or leave it stance was correct, as it would have given a potential...

Thanks to all at Western Saints for getting this group up and going again.

There are a lot of Saints supporters over here in WA, many who are not yet paid up Saints members. We'll keep working on it.

Thanks Trav,

we all received our notice of the AGM and stickers in the mail today.

I proudly wore my Western Saints Tee Shirt to the Grand Final. There were quite a few questions about it too.

Are there many Western Saints Shirts out there in the big wide world?

I use Joffa as an example with my junior couching. What Joffa lacked in silky skills he made up for with sheer desperation, I remember seeing him chase a ball on his hands and knees for 10 metres and he still got it. The other example I always talk about is the game BringBackMadDog was referring to,...
