Re: Dunnell

Dunnell looks good. I think a full pre-season will do wonders for him. Well done Pav. Nice work. Enjoy sleep, going out for dinner and the movies. Won't be doing much of those 3 soon! Oh the movies. I remember those. You can still go out for dinner. Provided you choose a loud restaurant and you're h...

Re: We are being left behind!

I believe Michael Lourey is one - apparently not impressed with being stuck down in the Development Squad. Well that's one player (unconfirmed). Gee, a player who might be disgruntled at not getting a game where he thinks he should be. Who would have thought that was possible at a football club? Ma...

and who do you take out? And that is the question. Really interesting week at the selection table. On the whole we pushed the top side in patches and were still in it with 4 minutes to go but having said that the Swans played crap in patches also. Difference was our bad patches were worse than thei...

Looks like a good guy to have around the rooms. Every club needs a Milne/Armo around the club. Great to see the young man has a good sense of humour.

Milne's Interview

Footy show were talking about a player messing around in the background of an interview with Milne.
Wanted to know who it was. My guess is Armo.
Not sure if anyone can link to the footage?

Works out to be 53 goals worth of points for the season.

Re: Round 15 Team

I'm of the opinion that Watters is assessing all his options during this season of transition, as we build toward the BIG years (2014/15) you may be right about assessing his options... but 2014/15 the big years? I love your optimism Jiggster, but by that time Lenny and Milney will be retired, poss...

I still think he needs another pre-season from what i saw of him in the seniors. Just needs a bit more core strength. Has the tools though. (All IMO)

Agree with what Ross who? has heard, definately a pure mid.

Re: Clint Jones' value to the team

He is hard at the ball and has pace. That is what he brings to the team. Not many St Kilda players have these two attributes.
He is not going to be a superstar, but he can win the alot of contested ball and run all day against the oppositions best mid.

Re: David Armitage rewarded for staying power

I think we can take an average performance from one of those players as long as Riewoldt and Kosi take charge up forward. On a side note. Who'd do people think will poll better in the Brownlow, Lenny or Jack? And are both on track for AA selection ? Lenny will poll better. Has a very good record ov...

Loving Watters. Really happy with his appointment. Happy with the on-field results for a first year coach so far. We have been more attractive to watch, while maintaining a strong defensive edge. Players seem to be enjoying playing under him. Interesting that Lyon comes in at number 17 on The Age mo...

Great to see the players pushing forward and backing themselves.

Love what Ross did for the club. Cleary his job brief was 'here and now', just a pity it didn't work out 100%.

It was an absolute pleasure of a game Monday night. Hadn't felt like that since mid 2009.
