Gilbert, in horror form. Isn't enjoying his footy and I doubt he's enjoying life at Seaford or in Melbourne in general. Send him on leave and only bring him back if he really wants to play for the Saints. Given what he's been through, I doubt he will. I think playing for a new club AWAY from Melbou...

Re: Reserves Team

Has anybody else noted the fact that the top two teams this year have their own reserves team and arent affiliated with a VFL club? Is the benefit of developing and playing kids in the position you want rather than where the affiliated club wants paying dividends to Collingwood and Geelong? Should ...

Not sure how it's going to be possible, but we simply need some gun young players to arrive on the doorstep of the club.
I still cant quite get my head around how the Pies landed Jolly and Ball when they were already top 4.

Re: Shame Shame Shame

To the supporters who walked out on mass at the 15 minute mark of the last quarter you are a disgrace. Was about 50% of our bay who left, bay 15/16. I am also sick of going to the footy every week and hearing people who are wearing our colors and constantly complain and bag St Kilda. Our effort is ...

Just trying to give the players a break by taking the focus away from the team's poor performance and onto the supporters' poor performance!

Na guys. I made this comment last season or so, and everyone called me out on it. Oh, he's taken us to grand finals in 2 years. Just remember that. He's a top coach. Never made a mistake. Ever. Indeed you did... in fact he is well and truly living up to your description of him as a "One Trick ...

Re: Riewoldt's late omission

Any news as to why he was left out of tonight's team? There wasn't even an announcement made about his withdrawl :? Hopefully nothing too serious, like a case of frustrated-playeritis. That could take a good season for him to get over. They didnt mention on the TV that he had pulled out but he must...

FFS... they were only copying the coach who also walked out well before the game finished.

Is the coach a disgrace too??

Sorry... bit of a leading question there...

If t lynch doesnt offer a bit more than either of those muppets then I will go he for tiggy. Reputations/record only get you so far, we are 12/13 games in and both have been woeful, consistently. Surely it's time to give lynch and or walsh a go. Surely? On what basis do gram and Gilbert continue to...

This runner should be replaced immediatly. :x He is a repeat offender  and possibly cost us the game as he changed the momentum early in the game. He also runs around like a headless chook and even after giving away a free and a certain goal nearly got involved in the game 15 mins later. :ev...

How about something like this. Gilbert to GWS Taylor Walker to st kilda Top 15 pick to Adelaide I consider this to be a win for everyone. I would also target McIntosh from north Melbourne. That way we could have McEvoy, walker and Roo all rotate, through the forward line. Close... Given that Walker...

Siposs does not deserve to be dropped nor will he be... his job was to keep Maxwell away from the play... to do this he, of course, is away from the play too, so you cant expect big numbers from him. He did his job, he will stay!

After leaving the Saints in 1980, Russell Greene played in Hawthorn's 1988 premiership win in what was his last game for the Hawks. I'm pretty sure he played in both the 1983 and 1986 premiership teams before that as well. Indeed I had forgotten about the Hawks previous wins. In fact Russell Greene...
