In full motion the 2 'out of bounds marks' did look out but in slow motion they actually looked correct, more so the Joey one I think was correct, McEvoy you could say that his arms were inside but also umpire was blocked by the runner. I personally think the kicking in danger one was a bit soft, bu...

I ended up reading that thread on the BigFooty board that the OP was referring to, and there was a couple of comments from different posters that confused me. They were all pretty much saying "It hurts so much cos we are the better team but they still beat us everytime". Is it just me or i...

There should be a MRP & Tribunal for umpires, they review the games and fine the umpires for the big mistakes that they make, not the little ones where they miss something small, but big ones like the in the back for Freo given last night, then within minutes exact same thing happened to St Kil...

I'm confident in Roo returning earlier than expected, if there's one thing we know about this guy it is how hard he works at everything he does, I don't think this will be any different. He will inspire the team from the sidelines just as much as he does on the field. Wishing him all the best for a ...

I agree umpiring was crap in first half, Saints couldn't catch a break, it didn't appear as one sided in the second half though, but re: Zac Dawson, I thought the frees against him were warranted, he was very frustrating to watch, he'd improved by the end though.

Watching the game on ch.10 was yet another frustrating experiance. Blight seriously sounded like a pissed of fan calling a talk back radio show most of the night, Walls was too intrested in trying to make Quatermain look stupid, Quatermain was apparently doing he best to help Walls and Tim Lane was...

I'd definitely take Brown, he's a good experienced player playing in a crap team, how would a player like Riewoldt (Nick) go receiving from the Richmond midfield? Saints are looking at a premiership in the immediate future and after that they will be rebuilding so why not grab an experienced player ...

Peake was very good in his first year, showed some really good signs. Has not been as well performed in recent times but I think it's more to do with playing for Fremantle, I'm excited about this one cos he has the skill just don't think Harvey is a good enough coach to recognise and utilise this gu...

I only heard the 2nd half on radio and don't even remember hearing a Pies name mentioned. Anyway, can you guys help me switch to optimistic? Were the Pies really that bad?? I wouldn't have thought Ottens would make much difference after being out all year, how did Geelong look?

Hate to be pessimistic but Saints haven't been the same since they rested all those players against Hawthorn, maybe if we went back to the team they had earlier in the season, no Eddy, no Dempster and include Geary and Gwilt then maybe I'd think we're a chance, but Geelong did that too easily, where...

1. If things are NOT going our way at the end...NO-ONE LEAVES EARLY unless you have 100% GENUINE family/kids-type reasons. Please lets not have any of this "Ohh Im too shattered I cant cope I cant watch I have to go" nonsense. The players dont get an early pass why should we?? 2. If thing...

Re: AA Captain - Our Nick - but don't ask the HUN!

Nick Riewoldt was named All Australian Captain last night, only the second St Kilda Footballer to achieve the honour after Darrel Baldock in 1966. But you wouldn't know it from the Herald Sun , its electronic version anyway. Their front page picture is of Gary Ablett. No mention of Nick Riewoldt. O...

I don't think you're alone, I think as St Kilda supporters most of us are conditioned to be fearful as a result of our history, just try and think of the fact that they've never won 19 in a row, so maybe this year they will create a new history at St Kilda.

I personally think the Dogs, maybe a little too quick for Brisbane (though I admit I haven't really watched Brisbane this year) and both teams tend to finish well so I think Dogs will get up at the startand Lions probably won't be able to catch them after that.
