Max was far far better. It was an indictment on the coaching/selection staff that Dawson played the GF. Dawson wouldn't even be good at VFL level. He is totally lost in a one out contest whereas Max was superb. Strange to have Dawson in the GF and have a fit Macguire and Hudghton in the stands watch...

No one should question the effort put in by this team either yesterday or all season. It was fantastic and we should be very proud of how well they played in a GF. Unfortunatley there is an element of luck in all sport and it wasn't with us yesterday. Agree totally with the original post.

Most teams that make a GF do so more tham once in their "window" eg Brisbane 01-04. Port Adelaide 04&07. Geelong 07-09. Eagles 05 06 Swans 05 06. Collingwood 02 03. Essendon 00 01. Adelaide 97 98. North 96 98 99. I think this group has an excellent chance of getting back there next year.

The error cost us 2 goals because Geelong scored another from the restart straight away. The whole game would have played out differently if that decision had been correct.
