Forget about keeping a lid on anything. This was a great win. Even the negatives are positive (if that makes any sense at all) – they showed there is still loads of potential improvement. No doubt the conventional wisdom is that the dropping of Dal and Milne was a turning point. But it could be th...

Appreciate the comments sRr, and nicely turned back to Fiora at the end. I couldn’t agree more about confidence. They haven’t looked like they have had enough of it for much of the season. So much of football is played above the shoulders. When things got difficult earlier on, I think many of th...

Well, I was a bit flippant. I don’t know what the plan was and I don’t know whether it has changed. And I certainly hope that there is a plan that is unfolding. However, what I and everyone else can observe is that the awful stuff being served up as recently, for example, as the Freo game has la...

I can think of at least three reasons to recall him: 1. His best has a touch of class about it. 2. He was shamefully treated by the coaching staff when he was dropped – it is one thing for a coach to demand things in private and another thing entirely to effectively hang him out in the media glare...

Surprised anyone on here would seriously consider it. Huge potential downside. No upside.

How does he help build the team? Which developing, long term prospect would people drop next year to play him? Armitage? Eddy? Geary? Steven? What would that achieve?

Yes, you are right Otiman – Kosi and McEvoy on the forward line might be a bit too much “Land of the Giantsâ€

Not sure that I agree that we can’t play McEvoy, King and Kosi in the same side. When available, we play M.Gardiner, King and Kosi in the same side. Also not sure that I like the options with the team selected. King is the only true ruckman but should share ruck duties. If he does too much he has ...

Agree with you MB. Hard work alone is going to beat very few sides going around at the moment. We played one of them last Friday for a low scoring close win. However, rather than Calvinist work ethic, may I suggest that our coach seems intent on Maoist re-education. If you don’t tow the party line...

[quote="rodgerfox"] Certainly, if our midfield is well on top and moving the ball well then he can move forward to really drill the opposition - but to have a midfielder who can kick goals, never be outmarked around the ground and run all day has to be the recruit of the year for us.[/quot...
