Re: The third handball problem
After an absence for a very long time, (although have been reading the posts along the way) I'm back and to spert I wholeheartedly agree with you over the third handball or in fact all of the handball. It's got to the stage if who ever is kicking out from the goal square after a behind is signalled,...

Cranbourne/Frankston, buses between Dandenong and Oakleigh.
Frankston buses between Caulfield and Moorabiin.
Plus the races are on at Caulfield.
Metro has mentioned running footy specials to and from but don't hold your breath about that.

Re: I love the MCG
Both Melbourne venues have their good and not so good points. Ive been critical of Southern Cross station, but NOTHING compares to the mess trying to negotiate a way into Richmond station post game, yesterdays crowd meant that it wasnt so much of a nightmare, but after a well attended game its horr...

Plus that gift of a goal because the third umpire called " inconclusive, therefore a goal"
But there were 37 000 people including Saints supporters who were prepared to concede it was a point.

Craps all over Jihad. Better atmosphere, more space and cheaper and better food. Yes I'm a biased MCC member and hope we play 6 games there next year Not sure about the cheaper and better food. Re: VFL Rd 17 Sandringham Vs Williamstown
Well in the last quarter they actuslly decided to play football. Tom Lee kicked a couple of goals after being shifted into the forward line. Freeman had a few kicks in the last quarter. I struggle to understand how a team could play so poorly on their home ground and the conditions, TBBO were good. ...

Re: VFL Rd 17 Sandringham Vs Williamstown
Tom Lee is having a go but as for the rest n the words of Jack Dyer "They're where the ball ain't"
It's still one goal to smething but the scoreboard attendant near the interchange bench appears to have gone home.

Outmarked, outrun and the player working the hardest is Tom Lee as he's trying to defend and get the ball out to smebody, anybody beyond CHB.
Can we please hire players who can actually kick and mark the ball?

Stay by the car, and return home.
It's deja vu of last night's game.
Sandy 1.7, 13, Williamstown 58 points.
Poor marking skills, kicking is lacking any kind of direction and the conditions are perfect.

I'm going to have to offer a dissenting opinion here. Yes he has the talent and the ability but I can find it really frustrating to watch Seb Ross step away from those 2nd, 3rd and 4th efforts when the ball is still within his vicinity but he appears to stand back and let someone take on the effort ...

And how many children under the age of ten do you see at Friday night games?
Not many by recent head counts, mainky because a lot of them have sport on Saturday morning and their parents don't want their kids out late.

What was the story with the ambulance stopping outside in Beach Road to attend to someone on the footpath?
Yes it was a fair size crowd. It was pleasing to see lots of kids turn up. After all it wasn't a 1030pm finish.

Re: Who is going to Friday Intra Club?
Udated traffic alert, avoid driving in general vicinity of Bentleigh, there is a gas leak at he train works, so trains suspended between Caulfield & Moorabbin and I'm certain road closures will be pushed back and more traffic on roads to and from or through Nepean Highway.
