Josh Fraser a factor in Ball trade

http://www.realfooty.com.au/news/rfnews/pies-get-jolly-fraser-could-be-bait/2009/10/07/1254701065580.html The introduction of a player such as Fraser to trade discussions may advance Collingwood's prospects of being able to do a deal to secure St Kilda midfielder Luke Ball. Personally, i can't see m...

A StKilda Poem

A friend of mine composed this poem about Grand Final 2009, hope you enjoy. The excitement grew and anticipation swelled, It was a battle of two teams that all year has excelled, Thousand attended the washed out parade, But the weather didn’t stop the player’s confident façade. As morning broke...

The Void

Ever since Hamill left, there was been a massive void in our forward line. I consider Rooke and Hamill to be very similar players, and our team desperately needs another Rooke. The only catch is, those type of courageous, never-say-die players, who would do anything for their teams are very hard to ...

seeing that Dawson does not have an obvious matchup, i would not be surprised to see him having a go as the third tall forward for some part of the match.

cant see him having two bad ones in a row He often has two bad ones in a row. He isnt exactly the most consistent type. You can say that Lenny or Roo or Joey wouldnt have two bad ones in a row, but Milne could most definitely have two in a row. HOWEVER, praying that he sets the game on fire, kickin...

Gary has been listening to his fellow panellist on FC (I did not want to mention his name, seeing it's already getting quite a run on here today) As much as his fellow panelist is despised around here, if we look at Milne's game in isolation (and not his overall worthiness to the team) then this ce...

Garry Lyon - Milne

http://www.theage.com.au/news/rfnews/time-to-deliver-when-it-counts/2009/09/08/1252201223799.html STEPHEN MILNE (ST KILDA) Of all the Saints on the weekend he would be the one looking forward to preliminary final day, for his impact in the Saints' victory was negligible. After watching the replay of the match I was also thoroughly impressed with Baker's game. Mainly his composure with the ball which led to him making very good decisions under pressure. But also his overhead marking was not as bad as I actually remembered, not great, but definitely adequate for his r...

I was also just a couple of rows behind the cheer squad.

Did anyone see those two guys with the saints face paint?

They were brilliant, did not stop screaming from the start.

And after the game they were just high fiving and embracing all the other sainters around them.

Re: Changes this week

Obviously now the dust has settled possible changes based on fitness for this week. Kosi - Maguire ( to the roar of many here finally there is a real argument for Maguire to come in. RL has a like for like policy and this one makes sense. Lets see if he can play a role or not. Gwilt too small and p...

Kosi out

Kosi will apparently miss a week due to the split webbing.

Should be interesting to see who comes in to play deep forward for next week against the dogs.

I will simplify for people.

Maybe, Max was DROPPED.

getting my drift?

no, he did not fake the injury. he simply did not fit into the line up against geelong.

Is Max really injured?

You cannot help but wonder that perhaps Max was simply left out of the team due to team balance and not because of his injury.

Perhaps it was advertised that his exclusion was due to injury in order to maintain his dignity and to keep his spirits high.

Just a thought.
