If Max King becomes as good a player as Rowan we are in for heavenly times !
Throw in the possibility of Ben king at CHB and the sun is poking out from the clouds.
Believe Sainters.
When it happens there will be no one as happy as us, including Dogs fans.

Re: Hunter C
not the point he is a jet we all agree on that last night he had 6 clangers (the most by a saint) and went at 61% disposal efficiency (5th worst) at times he tried to do too much and he will learn from that
Last night's game was a step up in intensity. All of our players were rushe...

Re: The best ruckman in a generation
He still dominates at stoppage. He is not as good as Gawn and Grundy, however, he gives Shuey an armchair ride. He doesn’t read the footy in general play. He ha# also been an AA ruckman. If NN played on Marshall now Marshall would get 15-20 poss, 5-8 marks, 15-20 hit outs Nic Nat would get 10-12 po...

Re: The best ruckman in a generation
Is the OP a statement or question ? St Kilda best or AFL best ? If it's St Kilda, I'd say Gardiner is worth considering. Purely for ruckwork Gards might have Rowan. Gards contested marking was pretty damn good too. Round 10 2009 ;-) However Rowan is the epitome of the perfect new age ruck man. Reall...

Call me a namby bamby supporter too then. I'm having a break from membership if BS is coach. Of course it will be a "thorough process", nek minnit, welcome BS. I'm warming to the idea of Sam Mitchell. Ticks a few boxes from what I can see. Premiership player at a very successful club, play...

Re: NICK RIEWOLDT
I heard Nick on SEN this morning and he said he would be available for a new coach selection committee if he was asked. Also said he would have no issue with Ross Lyon given the job as he thinks very highly of him. On the surface it doesn't seem right but I respect Nick's opinion on this subject mor...

Re: A wasted opportunity
I agree BM. They just have a lot more class but the result didn't reflect that due to our commitment. Dunstan had a real crack. There were lots of cheap shots going in the packs. Dunny wore a lot of it. We won the bloody clearances against Geelong at KP ! They are two games clear on top of the ladde...

Re: A wasted opportunity
We are 4th from the bottom and we gave the top side a scare on their own dung hill.
Ok we faded a bit. That's why we're fourth from the bottom.
I can handle losses like this. They tried their guts out against a superior list.

Re: Gresham: The Quick Skilful Player, that isn't quick and can't kick.
The problem is our team balance.
We've been hit hard with injuries and are lacking quality mids.
If Gresh was playing for Geelong he'd be killing it.
We need quality mids, good run with injuries and a good coach and Gresh would be fine.
i reckon he played ok tonight. No issues at all.

Re: I may be imagining it
I'm not saying we shouldn't look for a new coach but I couldn't see any coach getting a better result than tonight with what Richo had to work with. I went to the game and expected a 100+ drubbing. I came home pleased with effort, all things considered. Having said all that, Richo needs to be judged...

I just got home after going to the game.
The crowd down here are completely ignorant of the rules. They were booing constantly and thought they were robbed !
I have no doubt that they affect the umpires.

A game to be a proud Sainter.
I was there too.
Hocking ran right through Harves at a throw in just in front of the old Past players Stand.
Happened right in front of me.
Banger was killing it.
20 years ago ! Wow.
We're overdue.
I'll be there with a "reserved confidence"

Re: So Sad For Armo
I don't think it's sad for Armo at all. Armo is a warrior. Always has been. He's given everything he has but father time has caught up with him. He knows that. I know just how he feels. Playing Armo now is not a reflection on Armo but more so a reflection on the StKilda FC and where we are at. I'm c...

Re: Lachlan Hosie
OK, I've only just starting looking into this. From what I can see this doesn't overly impress me. Happy to look further into it and stand corrected. He plays for Glenelg who are on top of the SANFL ladder. One would think, lots of opportunity. He avergages 2 goals a game in a league possibly compar...

Brad Scott will be the Stkilda coach. when? after china game Why this has happened? Lethlan. Is it good? yep. its bloody good. Why people dont want a coach who took a mediocre list to prelims twice and is the twin brother of the best coach in the league right now is beyond me. Hes tough, talks with...

The worst thing anyone can do is assume what the extent of Jack's issues are and then judge based on that. Even if one was to know all the facts you can't know how it is affecting Jack. What affects you seriously may not affect me the same way or vice versa. He says he needs space and we need to res...

I'd bring in Marshall (full forward/ruck) and Hunter.
Out Lonie and Kent ( or Long if injuried)

Well, I'm not howlin' you down StS. Hang in there as I agree with you. I wasn't impressed with Billy's game. Yet again. He probably gave us his best. It's just not that good. Took some good contested grabs, surprisngly. But when we went forward, as usual, he led to where he knew the ball wouldn't go,...

Re: Team v Bombers
Joyce is very unlucky imo. I realise he gave away a lot of frees but the height difference was huge and always going to cause the FA issue. They don't have Daniher so I would have thought a tight, running defender like Joyce may have been a better option. Happy with Marshall and Acres in. Long dropp...
