Junction Oval wrote:Looks like we all agree, a good up-grade on McQualter. Stays in.

It will be interesting to see how well he goes this week on the big Freo ground.
Got an Idea why don't we try upgrading to a higher level player instead of one around the same b grade level?

Just for a change anyway

Then you've got bloody Harry O'brien who has cult status because he wears a Collingwood jumper (IMO) and I truely believe Gwilt is more reliable, Consistant, and better disposer of the ball.

Gwilt the quite achiever

Does this guy have to dye his hair purple to get true recognition for his performances? He would have to be one of the most underrated players in the AFL and certainly close to our most consistent and reliable. Whether we win or lose by 10 goals he gives the same solid game never panicking, standing...

Interesting to see that so many believe a large multitude of reasons but barely anyone has off field dramas on their list.

Even If none of it was true the media have bashed us from pillar to post and surely must have damaged our Image and reputation?

Actually this is an Interesting thread. We have alway been a club that everyone generally had a sentimental soft spot for and wanted to get behind to see us succeed. I've been up in Qld for 15 years now and I have a mad keen Richmond supporter mate in Melbourne that keeps Insisting that things have ...

Re: Favourable injury news for Saints

Dane Swan will be out for 2-3 weeks with a hamstring. I was hoping you were going to say Kosi and Mcqualter were out for the rest of the season. I don't like wishing injury on any player, from any team... You take it to a whole new, and very ordinary level, wishing for injury to our own players. :x...

It was a reasonable debut for Nick, but certainly nothing special. I hope he can build on it and finish the season with half a dozen games. I admire the way Cripps manages to be in the right place at the right time. You can't really teach that sort of thing. Siposs hasn't had a heap of it but blime...

Our boys have given their heart and soul over the past 10 years (across 2 coaches)..... We weren't good enough in that time - suck it up - so be it We were in an awful position at 1/2 time tonight, with 0% confidence.... and what did we do??? Did we roll over and lose by 100 points which many other...

Re: Ross Lyon overrated or underrated?

Is Ross Lyon overrated as a coach? I see our glass as being half empty and our team on the verge of requiring a full blown rebuild. It seems everyone else recognised this the summer but not Ross. Our game plan hasn't really changed. Our personnel hasn't really changed. We are relying on the same ha...

I felt like I was watching a 3rd division country football exhibition carnival.

I'm normally super hungry again when It comes to this time and enjoy NAB cup but this is crap.
