My view on where we're at.

Far more reasons to be not too concerned. Lets look at our situation. We will finish on top I believe we are a team that unfortunately still lack mental strength and psych ourselves up to perform better against top teams than lower sides which we expect to just go out and beat. That's why I think we...

Better than 9 touches at 80% efficiency, aka Nick Dal Santo. At the end of the day, it's better to have a bloke like Gram get 30+ and turn it over, than to have a lesser player in the side who doesn't find the footy. Gram was the only one getting near it until half time. Are you trying to be funny?...

how can you say Gram had a great game, my god!! He butchered the ball more than any player in a single gameI have seen in my 36 years. Fair dinkum what game where you watching? You obviously don't remember Jayson Daniels and Frank Coglan. You get 30 disposals a game If half are poor that means you ...

Grams nickname should be "Shower" as he sprays the ball everywhere. The problem is the difference between his bad and good are extreme. Yes he won the ball but that is worth nothing if you turn it over. Mark Mcgough used to win the ball . Thats crap he hardly ever got it with us that why ...

Re: Opposition pace is our weakness.

Essendon loaded up on pace to take us on, and combined with Ryder's prodigous leap enabling Watson et al first use of the ball, only injuries prevented them pantsing us. Other teams will have taken notice, and will implement the same tactics against us. We have to develop a tall non-traditional ruc...

This was a perfect example of how his kicking problem for goal can really hurt us. I wouldn't have minded so much if he was a reliable kick for goal but under the situation nerves got the better of him. But even if he was dead in front it still would have been a 50/50 which really isn't good enough....

Re: The biggest inclusion this week?

Channel 7 news reported that Barker was back in for the Saints this week. That would be an awesome inclusion in the finals and something I wish had happened in the old days more often. But the point of this post is who would you want from our past list to include in September. I would loved to see ...

I actually thought he was a really good player with the dogs and think he might be down on confidence with Richmond.

Wouldn't be surprised at all if he came over to us and fired up and became a great pick up.

First post, duplicate subject on a day where there has already been a bit of tiresome Lyon-sledging. How is this Lyon sledging? I have no idea. I think paranoia is alive and well on this forum. I suppose it is because you asked a question regarding Lyon and Misson and then by bringing in the previo...

I know we're a bit bitter but how can his coaching ability be questioned? I can remember when he first took on Adelaide and they were nowhere on the condition he did it his way. The very first thing he did which caused mahem was tell Andrew Jarman and Tony McGuinness who were two of their best playe...

Interesting, even my friend who absoloutely loves him, thought he was ordinary. He can get the ball ok, and can do some nice tackles, but he just poops himself when it comes time to get rid of the ball. Sorry, just calling it the way I see it :) I've been a critic over the last couple of weeks but ...

Nah! I reckon we'll do what StKilda always does and that is shoot ourselves in the foot when things look like they couldn't go wrong. It's the way we are at StKilda. One stat that does defend Raph is the 82% efficiency, that means of his 22 possessions, 18 went to a St.Kilda player and too our advantage. If all our players were getting 82% efficiency, they might as well hand us the cup now. If Raph plays a bad game, then I will criticise him, but he has been go...

Yeah, and I'm so pissed off that they don't personally thank me every week. You all should be thanking them, not vice versa. We do. We clap and support them for 120 minutes and thank them after the final siren. I don't think it's too much to acknowledge the supporters who have spent a lot of their ...

Re: Too Cool to thank us.....

A few wins and you are too cool too come clap and thank your supporters. Geez  Actually did the same up here at Carrara against the Demons. I was surprised and a bit disappointed. As much as I wasn't a huge GT fan as coach, he was big on the Importance of respecting supporters and involving p...
