Nothing says you can't play at AFL level like playing a couple of good games at AFL level. Even if he is injury prone, we're twelve months out from drafting Jesse Smith, and Raph Clarke is still on the list. If Eddy was good enough to be part of our best chances against Collingwood, then how is he ...

Who has a strong pain threshold
I want to try and move on now and lighten things up a little with something that just crossed my mind. A few years ago I thought I would dust off the 1997 GF dvd and have my first attempt at watching it again but got to the end of the 3rd quarter and couldn't bare any more. Would be Interseted to kn...

Looks like I could treasure the GF draw
This could be as good as it gets. As sad as It sounds after 46 years of patience and sufferance the draw maybe the thrilling GF match I can sit and watch in future without the painful ending of a loss. In fact I might put it on now for the first run to get my rocks off to help me recover from yester...

SPEEEEEEEEEED!!!!!!!! We need some lightning quick kids like Essendon and Collingwood are targeting. let's not get obsessed with pace because in itself it is not enough. you also need to be a footballer who can get the ball. you can also overcome lack of leg speed to a degree by moving the ball qui...

Re: I LOVE THE ST.KILDA FOOTBALL CLUB
Poor showing today, but i will never give up hope of us winning a grandfinal. Excellent year by the saints considering what went on off field during 2010 Could we honestly say if collingwood had the off field dramas that st.kilda did, do you think they would of made the eight GUTSY EFFORT SAINTS i ...

Re: Lets put 2010 behind us and look to 2011
2011 can be the year of the saints, but it wont be if those awesome players don't get the same support again in 2011 as they got this year! So stop falling off the bandwagon, yes it hurts, but we all need to keep the faith and stop depressing over what might of been! Lets be realistic. Unless we ma...

Re: Impossible to win a GF with current list
, Dawson are all well and good floating around through the season getting us over the line against lower teams but to stand up against the top one or two in the big one cost us premierships. . We must have seena different finals series inclusie of both GF's. I think Dawson will be better again 2011...

Re: Impossible to win a GF with current list
Not because they arent good enough but losing or not winning 3 GF in a row must hve huge mental scaring. How could they possibly come back from that. No your wrong it's because they aren't good enough. Eddy, McQualter, Kosi, Clarke, Armitage, McEvoy, Peake, Dawson are all well and good floating aro...

He enjoys the $$$$$$. Helps fund Maxton Constructions. Good luck to him. Footy is ultimately a business to most of these guys now. That's what's important to him at the end of the day. I reckon that's pretty rough mate. Maxy is employed to do a job. Did the saints offer him a job? Should the blues ...

Gold Coast Gathering for GF?
Just wondering if there is anything being organised somewhere for supporters around the Gold Coast to come together and cheer us on to the premiership we are finally going to win this Saturday?

Thanks Tef I've been on here long enough to be used to the small minded people. All I guess I'm trying to say is even though the Dogs last night for example were struggling with fitness etc, still kept trying to move the ball on quickly and stuck to their game all the way. We seem to have a fantasti...

The way I see it our B grade list is slowly growing and when the side is struggling overall for the loss of Roo or whatever it shows and they get found out and turn into pumpkins. It's all rosy with a full strength team and everyone's super full of confidence. No one thinks or cares when we keep win...

This kid has given 100% for the club since he started to the point of being so smashed up his body can't perform to the level it could. Now the Coaching Staff don't value him the same and are treating him accordingly. So he's trying to make the most of his last couple of years he probably has left ...

No I actually prefer to remember and appreciate him for his football skills. His toughness and ability to lay a good fair bump WAS one of his football skills. Rather than always being nervous about putting their head over the ball because it's an opportunity for some gutless thug like a Barry Hall ...

What an absolute tragedy. This kid has been an absolute superstar of the club up with the likes of Hayes in the mid field with a huge St Kilda heart but his excessive courage for his small size has really cost him. To see him now struggling for a spot and loss of pace from injuries still at a young ...

I can't believe this is even being discussed. The shirtfront is one of the greatest sights to behold on the footy field. Dealing them out is an art most of the time too. If a bloke puts himself in the postion to be cleaned up he's fair game, Saints player or not. It can change the game in an instan...

Do we need big heavy bumps?
I know I'm in the minority on this one but just curious to see opinions on this. Apart from the thrill of seeing a player get seriously hurt or stretchered of the ground with concussion (which does nothing for me at all) I don't understand the need or purpose of the "FAIR bump" or big hip ...
