How does this come up now when Ross Lyon was going to recruit Mitch Clark, because we had some room in our cap?

My point is that I hope we play "hard ball" if Freo wants any of our players. -They can't just poach them like they do with coaches!

If the Dockers want Clint or Peake they will have to pay.
Fyfe would look good in Saints colours.

My 1st. membership was in 1959 aged 11 so i'm not likely to desert the club over Ross Lyon. -I've seen so many coaches come and go I've lost count but the club is still strong.

Why are we in this financial problem -all the other clubs including Carlton have gone to the AFL for handouts -why don't we?
Or at the least get them to improve our stadium returns or give us the gate takings of bigger games other than interstate sides.

The game against Sydney was always going to be hard as besides the two who withdrew, we had 3 other players who had gastro during the week. i think we can beat them next time. Also the matches against Geelong (Round 1) and Carlton, were 1 point and 3 points and could have gone either way.(the other ...

It would be ironic if we traded for Green.
We were tipped to select him in the draft (1999 I think) and we chose that great player Cadyn Beetham. -An inspired selection!

One of my favourite footy memories was at Princes Park in the early 60's.
Barry Laurence hit Walls with the perfect shirtfront -he woke up after the match was over and I think we may have had one of our rare wins at that ground.
sadly today he would have probably been suspended by the MRP

It's hard for Walsh to be among the best at Sandy with the team performing poorly, and with an undermanned midfield.

I started as a member in 1958 at age 10 (great old days at Junction oval drumming our feet on the floor of the old wooden stand), then to Moorabbin for some great years. Remained a member right through the four wooden spoons when you could arrive at 1.30 on a Saturday and get a seat in the stand. It...

He was started up forward last night and I believe he needs to play half-back where he has the ball in front of him, and he can run down the ground.
The confidence seems to disappear when he is played out of his comfort zone.
I know we need another forward to help Roo but i don't think Gilbo is it.
